We’ve already planned visits to each other’s countries next year, and everything seems promising—yet sometimes, small things trigger my anxiety.
Recently, I noticed he’s been connecting with new people on Facebook from various countries, all female. Curious about how he met them, I asked him about it casually, but he only replied with “?” and “goodnight.” Later, I checked his profile again (yes, anxiety got the better of me), and I found he had changed his privacy settings so I can no longer see his friends list.
I understand he values privacy and doesn’t like being pressured, but this made me feel shut out, as though my question wasn’t worth addressing. I want to believe he’s just protecting his space, yet my mind spirals into negative thoughts—like, is he using dating apps due to loneliness?
