So I know most med schools say they don’t have a preference for your major as long as you complete the prereqs, but I’m curious—how does it actually look to have an arts degree? I’m an English major who’s knocked out all the required science courses, but sometimes I feel like my background is a bit different compared to all the bio and chem majors out there.
Anyone else applying with a non-science degree? How did it go for you? Wondering if my arts background will stand out in a good way or if it’ll raise questions. Applying next year btw!

MI - Are there any HR pros who can answer this question for me. If a salaried employee can't use their PTO, because their department has been severely short-staffed for half the year and he's working 6 days a week, is there an expectation that said employee should just lose his acrued PTO at the end of the year because he literally can't take it, and his hours remaining go way beyond the amount he's allowed to rollover according to the official policy? A friend of mine is in this position. I told him he should talk to his supervisor and ask that they figure something out to address this because it's not fair to him that he's essentially being punished because he's busting his back to help the company keep doing business while they're down about 33% of their staff in his department. He thinks he shouldn't even ask because there's an expectation that salaried employees will just lose PTO during a situation like this, that's just part of being a salaried employee. Thanks in advance for any help.

Next May, I’ll be flying from the Netherlands to Argentina to kick off a backpacking trip across South America. We’re very flexible with time, and I’d love your input on our (rough) itinerary so far.
Here’s the plan: • Fly to Buenos Aires (mid-May) • Fly to Iguazú Falls • Fly to Salta and explore Cafayate, Purmamarca, and Quebrada de Humahuaca • From Salta, fly to Córdoba • Fly to Bariloche • Fly to Mendoza and cross into Chile
Originally, we planned to use buses for most of the trip, but Argentina’s domestic flight network seems so well-connected that flying feels like the better option.
A few specific questions: 1. Does this itinerary miss any must-see spots? 2. Is Córdoba worth a stop? I’m unsure what to do or see there. 3. For Bariloche in early June, how’s the weather? Will it still be enjoyable despite the cold? 4. Would you recommend taking the ferry to visit Montevideo and Colonia del Sacramento while in Buenos Aires?
I’d really appreciate any thoughts, tips, or suggestions! As mentioned, time isn’t a major concern, so we’re open to adjustments.

I'd ordered a few items a few days before the strike started, not knowing that a strike was on the horizon. I also ordered one item a few days after the strike had started, not thinking there would be any impact - Canada Post hasn't delivered an AliExpress order to my house in a long time, it's typically been Uni Uni or Apple Express.
I'm in Ontario, and typically my orders arrive just over a week after my order date. This time, for the orders I made before the strike started, tracking indicates that they've been stuck for almost 2 weeks, either in "Arrived at local airport" or "Arrived in transit country" status. I figured it's due to the strike, where somewhere in the process, Canada Post was supposed to be involved.
But the order I made after the strike started just arrived today (so in that typical window of just over a week). There's a Uni label on the package. I was very pleasantly surprised, as the product is going to be part of a Christmas gift.
So, this is pure speculation, but I think after the strike started AliExpress started using another process that cuts Canada Post out entirely. I assumed that anything ordered since the strike started wouldn't arrive until some time after the strike ends - and who knows when that'll be - so I've been avoiding AliExpress entirely. But now I have a little hope that things might actually arrive. Or at least newer orders. Hopefully. (I won't rely on them for anything I need before Christmas, though, just in case).
Hope everyone else has been receiving their orders!

I just gotta put this here because I see so many “I got banned” posts especially with cb. I’ve been on cb and other cam sites for 8 years on and off and never had a problem with getting banned. Read the TOS. It’s there for a reason. When I join new sites I read their TOS because every site is different. Take the time to learn the TOS. This is a job at the end of the day. It shouldn’t be a mystery to you as to why you got banned.
You should also know the contact information for the support team. If you have questions about the TOS they will answer it for you. Please take responsibility for your job and adhering to the TOS.
The TOS is there to protect the site and also YOU. I can’t tell you how many times I see models talk about receiving payment off site and then the customer does a chargeback and the model is out of money. There’s the reason why the TOS is there. Every models should know the TOS like the back of their hand. I never hesitate to tell a customer something is against the TOS and report any interactions/messages that are against TOS. Don’t risk your jobs.

Although invisible to most, Core is described as a subtle and flowing blue energy sensed only by those gifted with the rare ability to wield it. Art Casters, as they are called, can tap into this energy to heal, shape the world around them, and unleash potent spells. However, Art Casters are few and far between, born with a unique sensitivity to Core a gift that has grown scarce over the centuries.
Origins of Core itself is still shrouded in mystery but it's excepted to predates the Old Gods and even before the times of ancient mythological war called "Thousands Year Blood War" 10,000 years ago. Core was an energy that has always existed within life. Through rigorous training and Core cultivation, Art Casters strengthen their connection to Core, enhancing their endurance and refining their mental discipline. This cultivation process is essential, though demanding, involving both physical and mental trials that gradually deepen the caster’s Core reserves and control.
