Hello detectives. Long story short, I'm on my second playthrough (so don't worry about spoilers), but I can't get inside the Feld building. I've reached my learning cap for the relevant Motorics and Physique skills, and am unable to redo the tests to climb the ladder or break through the door next to the sewer.
Are there any other ways to get into this building and find Ruby?
Additional context, not 100% relevant, but felt like sharing:
Overall, I'm having a hard time passing the Physique and Motorics tests through the game. This results in a lot of time passing, and I'm worried about triggering the tribunal before getting anywhere in the investigation. I'm on my second playthrough, this time roleplaying a pseudologia fantasticop. I'm lying and manipulating as much as I can to compensate for my lack of physical and motoric attributes. My first playthrough was the complete opposite (think drug addict superstar, well-intentioned socialist brute cop). Smashing walls high on speed and liquor was much easier than trying to fool people into giving me money.
I'm already foreshadowing I'll manage to get the entirety of Revachol shot when the mercenaries show up.

Is Suburban dad fiction a thing? I feel like thereâs a decent amount of stuff out there written specifically for suburban moms, but weâre lacking in the homemaker dad category. And I donât mean escapist stuff for the suburban dad, I mean books that speak to the experience of suburban dads by having suburban dads as protagonists.
Maybe Iâm describing it poorly. The closest thing I can think of is Here I am by Jonathan Safran Foer, though Iâd prefer if theyâre not all about divorce.

I can't seem to find anyone else talking about this online, but one of the quotes (arguably the worst) mentioned in South Africa's case to the ICJ is a complete lie.
On Page. 67 of the document, the case reads:
In an Israeli news interview, one former MK called for all Palestinians in Gaza to be killed saying:âI tell you, in Gaza without exception, they are all terrorists, sons of dogs. They must be exterminated, all of them killed. We will flatten Gaza, turn them to dust, and the army will cleanse the area. Then we will start building new areas, for us, above all, for our security.â

The interview was given in Hebrew, so I will take the quote as written as true. However, I can look into Danny Neumann, who is the "former MK" member who is cited as giving this quote.

I found it interesting that all I could find on this guy, is that he is a former soccer playecoach, and is now a commentator. There is nothing about him formerly being in the MK.

DANNY NEUMANN IS NOWHERE TO BE FOUND
I thought, surely this has to be a mistake when they were compiling the case. Then I realized, most of the quotes that South Africa cites have the names of the people that said them. In this case, they only cited him as a "former MK". This leads me to believe that the authors of this document knew that they were lying, and this horrendous quote came from someone who has never been associated with government in Israel.
Even in this lie, in their case of genocide against Israel, this quote doesn't even come from someone who is currently in power.
Why is this important? In South Africa's case of genocide, they prove that all they have is to lie, and find ludicrous statements made by a civilian in the weeks after the worst attack on their people in their history. Is Danny Neumann giving orders? Is he in the war cabinet? Is he hatching the plan of this "genocide"? If they are so sure that a genocide is being committed, why are they making things up to prove their point?
Someone please correct me if I am mistaken here, but I can't find anything saying Danny Neumann ever served as an MK.

My son's dad called me yesterday asking for our sons SSN because he was filing for unemployment while the season was over (He works for a lawncare service). I don't understand why he would need my sons SSN to file for unemployment. Is he trying to claim him as a dependent? Will him doing this affect me when I file my taxes at the end of the year? He only has my son one night a week every other weekend. He only pays 250$ a month in child support and is SUPER behind in that. My son is not a dependent of his.
I tried googling this and couldn't find any answers.

I noticed that the stoics are not atomists. Most of them derive aspects of their metaphysics from the platonists and Pythagoreans. Generally speaking they believe in a metaphysical cause for the creation of the universe. I noticed alot of modern stoics are usually atomists or atheists. How do you balance this with the thought of being a stoic. I thought the metaphysics was fundamental to stoic thoughts.

2024.11.27 14:40 gurglywind Found a fix for the european keyboard bug that disables cmd-shift-7 for toggling comments
Hi - I use a danish keyboard layout and experienced that cmd-shift-7 stopped outcommenting lines and opened the help search instead.
After trying to change the macOS help-search keyboard shortcut, I found a fix here https://github.com/zed-industries/zed/issues/20425
The fix is to bind ToggleComments to cmd-shift-6, which for some reason is activated when pressing cmd-shift-7.

I use danish keyboard but it seems that german and other european keyboards has the same problem.
