Anyone on the South side of the Earth with a Dwarf 3 able to capture the LMC, or would that be remotely possible?
I know the wide angle would capture a portion of it but when Mosaic mode is finally introduced in the coming months, it might be a worthwhile shot.

I'm looking for someone to help design a custom water container for hydroponics. Below are the details and key requirements for the design:
1. General Shape and Size
- The container will look a bit like the base of a parasol stand that you can fill with water or sand, but adapted for hydroponic use.
- Overall Dimensions:
- Maximum outer dimensions: approximately 37 cm (L) x 37 cm (W) x 19 cm (H) (about 14.5 in x 14.5 in x 8 in).
- 2 sides of the container should include wider edges for support (see mounting system below).
- Essentially, the container has a square shape as seen from above, but from the bottom you would be able to see that two sides are slightly reduced internally for design reasons.
- The container will be hung in a cutout on the metal base of a cabinet:
- The cabinet base will have a smaller rectangular opening than the container.
- Two opposite sides of the container should protrude slightly beyond the cutout, allowing these edges to rest on the cabinet base for support.
- Think of the mounting system as similar to food trolleys in restaurants, where trays rest by their edges without being fully flush.
- Recommended wall thickness:
- Base: ~6 mm (for added strength and stability).
- Sides: ~4 mm.
- Top/Lid: ~3 mm.
- If you have better recommendations for the thickness based on structural considerations, I'm open to suggestions.
- The container should have a removable lid:
- The lid should cover the entire top and fit securely.
- The lid will have a round cutout in the center (about 8–9 cm in diameter) to hold a net pot or basket for the plant.
- The container will hold water, so it needs to be watertight.
- The design should aim for easy 3D printing or fabrication.

2024.11.27 14:29 esoteric-frog nurse wasnt sure if it was infected (i got antibiotic anyway)
i got a tattoo finished (black is healed, color is fresh) a few days ago, noticed last night before i went to work that the healing was not looking how it should, so i saw a physician this morning after clocking out. she said she doesn't know what an infected tattoo looks like as she has no experience with it, but prescribed me an antibiotic anyway. this is definitely an infection tho, right? im also not sure if the ink is rejecting... this is my 15th or 16th tattoo, 3rd large piece with color, so im not too familiar with how color heals. (dont worry, ive already started taking the antibiotic)

There has been conversation and curiosity on this sub recently about how on earth they will handle MB's inner dialogue for the upcoming series.
Most of what we know about who Murderbot is comes from that inner dialogue, since it hardly speaks aloud, grudgingly doing so only to interact with or protect humans (and never wants to.)
The inner dialogue needs to be Kevin R. Free! That would create just enough difference between Skarsgård's physical presentation of the construct, which needs to be stoic and intimidating, and its sarcastic inner dialogue to demonstrate how uncomfortable MB is with itself, with interacting with humans, with the Corporates and the company, etc.
I don't think it will happen but it really SHOULD!!
