Hello, by way of background. I own a 2001 LSB with 58,000 miles. The car is all stock, save for a short shifter, and I’d like to keep it all OEM. The car is a 9.5/10. However, I need to replace the windshield and State Farm offered up 2 alternatives: Glass America and Safelite to start, however I’m in no obligation to use either. Would taking it to the BMW ensure an OEM window, or does the dealership outsource to one of the above referenced companies. Thank you in advance.

2024.11.27 14:23 Valiant-Fox Weird top surface and blobs on the sides.
 | Got a printer of my own (anycubic kobra 2 neo) for my birthday, a couple of weeks ago. I've been trying to dial it in ever since. My problem is 2 things, that I know of, one is the ridgey scrabes in the top layer and big blobs on the sides, z-seams I reckon. I've tried almost every sliceing software, cura-prusa-anycubic next. I've googled what to do, and tried to reduce extrusion, increased top layer count, reduced top layer Seam width and so on. 2024.11.27 14:23 Medical-Frosting I think I fried my external hard drive
Last night I was using my laptop and I needed to access a file on my external hard drive so I grabbed the USBC cord and plugged it into the hard drive thinking the other end was plugged into my laptop but I inadvertently plugged the hard drive into the power cord from my laptop which was plugged into the wall outlet.
Oops.
Now when I connect the hard drive to my laptop I can hear it start up but the hard drive doesn’t appear on my desktop like it used to.
Is there any hope for me?

I was just meditating, and as I tried to see the breath more clearly, I noticed that there is this resistance again doing that. When I tried to see that, it seemed to me that there was great pleasure above feeling and a comfortable feeling in the mind remaining as it is and not exerting itself to know the object in the present moment. The pleasurable feeling was very similar to the joy of laziness and comfort, or, for example, the comfort of a warm interior after coming in from the cold outside.
I also noticed a tinge of sleepiness in it, although I just had eight hours of uninterrupted sleep. Can anyone give details on what it is? This feeling is completely new to me, and I think it is an impediment in developing the mind. Thank you.

There was basically some group task in history and the teacher put me in a group with Cinderace, Scizor, and Diggersby. When I read all my answers out loud, Cinderace and Diggersby would laugh their asses out or mock me after every sentence ended. Scizor actually had alot of sympathy during the whole thing and didn't participate. Anyways this pissed me off alot. What made it worse is that Pancham came up to me later at the end of class and when I said something even he mocked me. I tried to tell him to stop doing that but I think I said it a little too forcefully which made him mad. Next we had french class and I wanted to progress this whole thing because I was angry. For some reason this meant showing Pancham the middle finger (I couldn't do much else while sitting in class). We had Fr. Wandel which meant any violence or vulgarity was punishable. Everytime she turned to the board I turned back to Pancham to show him the middle finger. Then people told her what I did so she turned around, by which point I'd already stopped and looked to the board like nothing happened. I did this 3 times but on the third time I turned around a little too late...when I looked back at her she was staring directly at me. She told me to leave the room. I did do that and met Scizor who'd also had to leave the room because he's Scizor. I told him what I did. Fr. Wandel let me come back in later but I had to copy the Schulordnung once and my parents got an email. Pancham then mocked me for failing AND getting punishment in the break. My mental state completely collapsed. I was not having a good day at all. I went to the bathroom and I felt like burning down a house or something. That's when I decided to do it. I don't really have anything against Diggersby personally, he just symbolized negativity for me. So I waited until the 10 minute break. I knew everyone leaves their bags in the corridor outside the fachraum and I knew what the pencil case looks like. When no one was around, I opened the bag and took the pencil case. I even left the bag open so he knew someone stole it and he didn't just lose it. At home I hid the pencil case in a box, before abandoning it outside because I was scared my parents would find it.

I’ve read that the US has been dragging their feet in switching to more climate friendly forms of energy compared to peer nations, and that the biggest barrier is actually in policy making and possible resistance to policies that would limit US economic strength from nonrenewable energy sector and the big corporations that lobby for continued use of fossil fuels.
Regardless of whether that’s true or not, does it seem more economically wise to embrace renewables/sustainability and develop that industry sooner or should the US hold off as long as possible since fossil fuels are still a huge part of our economy? I’ve heard people say that the reason we haven’t been at the forefront of climate change initiatives is because renewables and sustainable products and methods don’t make money, is that true or could the US develop it into an industry/sector that could be economically beneficial with the right policies?

Hello,
I got new Airpods 4th gen last weekend. I was on call with a friend today (first long call since I got the airpods) and right in first couple of minutes the noise cancellation started glitching. It kept going on an off constantly. Eventually I ended up turning it off and using without NC. Call went just find after turning NC off.
These are my 3rd airpods and so far my experience during calls has always been "inconsistent" for the lack of right word. With my 3rd gen airpods, people on the other end used to complain about having issues hearing me so I used to pull out one of the pods and hold it near my mouth for them to hear me properly.
With these ones, the NC is an issue during calls.
Has anyone else faced this issue?
