I have been dating someone for a few months and since has to move abroad for 2-3 months he told me he was "confused" about me. That he really likes me but is young and wants to "explore". But he says he is afraid that he will regret it if we officially ended things because we are extremely compatible and he knows I would go above and beyond for our relationship.
We trust each other. We never fight (we do disagree but we deal with it well always). We both share the same faith and political beliefs. We have great compatibility and chemistry.
I told him I deserve to be with someone that is sure of me and ended things. In my heart I really want to sit and prove my worth, but I think I have enough self respect to know that someone would value what I bring to the table and stay with me (and believe it is the right decision completely). AITAH for ending things with him? Should I have given him a couple weeks to decide what he wants out of our relationship?

2024.11.27 15:35 Wolfson1 Setup comparison and advice
'm upgrading my current system which is a pair of active bookshelf Edifier R1280T speakers, paired with Fluance RT85 table with ortofon blue. Currently using the small Fluance phono pre amp.
I am wanting to integrate my system with my TV and record player.
The KEF LSX II seem to tick most the boxes. It should work with the TV, can Bluetooth stream when kids/wife want to listen, plus can hook up to my table. The other option is the passive LS50 metas which are 300 dollars off right now, so actually cheaper than the LSX II, but then I'd need a recieveamp.
Which way would you go and if the latter, is there a receiveamp you'd recommend? I was looking at some of the Cambridge systems but the EVO75 is pretty pricey. Ideally it would be more compact as there is limited space.
Thanks for any advice/suggestions.

Not really sure where to go for this question, but it's kind of related here I guess. I don't feel comfortable giving my dog any rawhide or animal bones.
I'm looking for a chew that would take her a bit to get through. We've done collagen bones which she loves but I'm afraid they're about the same as rawhide which I don't love. We've done bully sticks but they last like 2 minutes.
Im not super concerned about the price but hoping for something reasonable. She is a smaller breed (cockapoo) so I'd like it to ideally come in a smaller size.
Any advice is helpful! Thank you :)

Assuming money is no issue…
- What type of drive is the most likely to not corrupt the data even after years of inactivity?
- How large would a text-only download be?
- How about images + text?
- How about audio + images (.gif too) + text?
- How about all media ever uploaded with text?
- A computer or usb enabled device (computetablet/other) would be needed to read the data. What would be an ideal device for a long term survival scenario?
- Would it be reasonably possible to use some kind of pedal-powered induction motor to guarantee the computer and drive see a charge every so often? What would this look like?
- Would it be ideal to keep the drive and computer together in a faraday cage when not in use?
- What would it look like navigating the download… assuming ONLY text, audio, and images (including gifs)?
- In theory, could AI be used to assist with optimizing the retrieving/accessing/relay of data back to the user?
- Would this solution work for any longer than 10 years?

Hi. F25. I have a terrible immune system. Both my parents have autoimmune diseases and I know that means I probably have one and I get sick a lot. It’s been about 3 months since I last got sick but last week my boss came to work sick and now I have a stuffy nose, headache, can’t hardly eat (I found that plain chicken nuggets are the easiest thing to stomach), and I feel hot. Last night I bought NyQuil and a new thermometer because mine broke. My brand new thermometer this morning is saying my temp is 96.4? I took it three times to make sure. And took it before drinking anything. Why is my temp so low when I feel so hot? Is it ok that it’s so low?
