Hello to all fellow Ucalgary people !
I recently received a conditional offer of admission. The only condition being that my official transcripts are required to be sent to Ucalgary.
I did arrange my previous university to send my offical transcripts from their email. And ucalgary did send me an acknowledgement of recieving the email from my university.
It's been 5 days since and still my application portal shows a yellow tick. I am wondering how much time it takes for ucalgary to update the status to a green tick i.e, an unconditional acceptance.
My offer letter is valid till mid December 2024, and I was wondering if I should wait for it to go green tick before paying my deposit fee which in my case is quite high as I am an international student. Or should I wait , because I don't know how long it takes for ucalgary to update the portal.
I don't want my offer to get expired. I do want to get fully admitted into UCalgary.
If anyone has similar experience in the past, pls do share your valuable insight, I'll be extremely grateful.

Since i had itchy and burning eyes with a blurred Vision for some weeks i went to a eye doc He did a schirmers test wich showed a 10 on one eye and a 29 on the other , he didnt tell me much just to use eye Drops 3 Times a day , i could not ask more questions cause He was very Busy, did anynone here ever get a similar result with this test ?

Whatever you do, just remember that everything is temporary. Try to do something physical whether that be lifting weights or even just taking a walk. Breathing exercises can be very helpful to calm down your fight/flight response. Look into vagal toning. The mind-body connection is powerful and cannot be overlooked.
What do you do when it's like pulling teeth to read, bow, chant, sit, or post on ?
Go to the gym, watch boloney on Netflix, cry, take a nap.

A while ago I noticed when I was playing Hogwarts legacy on some wired headphones that there was no 3d audio. I guess that is just how remote play worked. I'm not sure if that has or will change, I don't tend to play with headphones.
I was wondering if there are any benefits to getting something like the pulse explore headphones for the portal, other than them being wireless.
Also out of curiosity, has anyone noticed an audio quality difference when directly streaming to the portal? When I have a chance I'm going to try and test it but I wasn't sure if my cheap wired headphones are the best for that. I recently noticed streaming over my PS5 that it sends 3D audio and was thinking about it.

 | My iPhone 15 Plus just dropped to 99% after 25 cycles (or about exactly 1 month after I first got it). Mine is on optimized charging (NOT the 80% limit) and i FULLY charge to 100% only once abt every 1 to 1.5 days. The 25 cycles is almost exactly 1 month since I got my iPhone (hopefully this doesnt mean 1% lost per month 😭😭😭) I usually charge my 15 Plus at about 10-20% battery remaining BUT i dont (almost NEVER) use my phone while charging.
