For context I f(21), and my boyfriend m(21) got a bunny about a month ago now. We live together, have a place about 45 minutes from where my family lives. Last night after my shower I went to see where my bunny was considering he’s usually playful after I shower and wants to lick the water off my legs, but he wasn’t in any of his usual spots. When I did find him hunched in his litter box I noticed his left ear was pinned to his back while his right ear was normal. His head was also tilted to the left which is incredibly not normal. I immediately called his vet and since rabbits are considered an exotic pet in my state it’s very had to find an emergency vet on call. The earliest I can get him in is tomorrow after my shift ends at 2 am. My family in my opinion Nate being incredibly cruel when I turned to them for support and advice. They kept telling me “it’s not a cat or dog”, that “it’s a waste of money when he may not even get better” and “I don’t agree with this or think you’re making the right choices” all because I love my rabbit like I love any of my pets and I don’t see why it’s an issue to put my money towards helping my pet whom I deeply love. Monte is the best sweetest boy. He’s only ever been happy and playful and incredibly good motivated and to see him lethargic and suffering breaks my heart. Am I overreacting or am I doing what’s right by my pet?

I am the hospitality manager for a huge private country club. We have golf courses, two club houses that are massive, two restaurants and a bar on site, and a bunch of other amenities. This week, as I know it is for a lot of you, is our Hell week. Maybe the only other week that’s worse is the week of Christmas.
Our club is ultra ritzy, members pay an incredible amount of money to belong. And we have a policy that you can’t “ever say NO to a member.” This week, we’re offering brunch and dinner services at the club that are themed “Anything but turkey” and it’s a big deal. Both dining rooms are full, the bar is full, and one of the function rooms is packed.
I was fronting the member desk as always, basically getting yelled at because people had to wait 5 minutes to get seated, (one lady literally told me “well, it’s a good thing you’re pretty because you aren’t too smart!”) when I look and see an older member waiting in line to talk to me. He’s on our Board and, those of you in private clubs will understand this, his name and picture are on our wall, a big deal. I have a mini panic attack because I’ve never talked to him, and he shouldn’t be waiting in line, and something if obviously wrong if he needs to talk to me.
I go out from the desk and greet him, “Hello, Mr. Big Shot, welcome back.” Etc. He says, “well you’re certainly busy, but can I ask you for some help? We might need some strong guys too.” I say “certainly sir, can you tell me what you might needing help with today?” He says, “follow me, please.”
We walk..very slowly…to the front entrance, the whole time I’m thinking about the desk going crazy and what he could possibly need help with. I legit thought he might have driven his car into the main fountain - it has happened.
We get to the main entrance and it’s his car and a delivery truck. I’m like, uh-oh, what did we miss? The driver gets out and opens the back of the truck.
Inside are tons and tons of…pies! Each in nice box and a ribbon. I’m like, “oh sir, that’s very thoughtful, are these gifts for your fellow members?” He smiles and says, “no, they are for you folks, the staff!” This sweet little man bought every staff member a pie for Thanksgiving. And, with each pie, he had a little note with $50 bill, that said “Thank you for making this our special place! From Mr. And Mrs. “Big shot”.
I went to my office and cried lol. Not ashamed to say it.
There is hope!

currently updating my rig, after my mobo went on me. and after anxiously purchasing a new mobo. I then thought to myself, if i'm replacing that. might as well do the rest. so, currently I have on the way the new CPU,PSU and Mobo. can anyone recommend a better GPU that's amd than a 6700xt, that was my original pairing. but I heard negative reviews and need some input.

Ciao, cerco un po' di "man forte" per avere alcuni suggerimenti.
A breve lascerò l'appartamento in cui mi trovo da 8 anni e più (ho dovuto stipulare un nuovo contratto, al rialzo del 30% rispetto al precedente, per i pochi mesi che serviva).
Sono iniziate le visite per riaffittarlo, e l'agente ha più volte fatto notare ai potenziali inquilini che la casa necessita
1) di imbiancatura >> già su questo la proprietà ha fatto pressione a me per farlo a mie spese. Ho già negato disponibilità (e lo farò ancora), ricevendo minaccia di caparra trattenuta. So che non può farlo per via di recente sentenza per cui non c'è obbligo dell'inquilino... Comprendo che io sia qui da molto ma (a differenza di quanto afferma la proprietà) nemmeno a me i muri sono stati consegnati freschi di tinteggio (cd. Buone condizioni)
2) di sistemazione del bagno >> cosa di cui la proprietà è al corrente da anni, si era impegnata a farlo già 4 anni fa ma col Covid la scusa è poi diventata il "ci sei tu dentro"
3) su iniziativa dell'agente, proporre alla proprietà di installare condizionatore per maggiore appetibilità dell'appartamento
Ecco, se già c'è tema 1) a tenere banco, non vorrei che la proprietà usi scusa 2) ma sopratutto 3) per trovare danni a caso pur di rientrare da spese non previste.
Personalmente ho ben altre spese da potermi permettere eventualmente un avvocato, ma come posso tutelarmi? Grazie

They live in algae around the perimeter of my stock pond that I use for aquarium plants and tropical fish. I put the pond outside during the summer and bring it in for winter. 2024.11.27 15:56 Money-Pomelo-4416 A BIG issue with reset windows

I’m trying to reset my Windows PC, but it keeps failing. I go through Settings > system > Reset this PC, but after attempting the reset, it goes through to 60% of resetting but then restarts automatically to advanced startup mode and after booting back into Windows, I still get the same error message saying the reset didn’t work.
This isn’t the first time I’ve run into this issue when first installing the SSD to my laptop, I was able to figure out a solution back then and download windows on it. I just remember the solution was in bios.
The weird part is that my SSD shows up in the BIOS, and Windows works completely fine otherwise. I ran CrystalDiskInfo, and it says the SSD is healthy. However, when I try to list the drives in Command Prompt (using diskpart and list disk), the SSD doesn’t show up at all.
Any ideas on what could be causing this or how to fix it?
