2024.11.27 16:38 pntgio Older CDJs or a controller?

After not playing any shows in about 8 years I'm having the itch to get back into it.
I previously would just show up with headphones and my USB to play on whatever CDJs the club/venue had set up. Nowadays I don't know if I'll still be playing shows out here in Houston since I don't know anyone(originally from Miami FL) but I'd love to at least play some tunes at home to enjoy myself.
My question is do you think it'd be better to get older CDJs such as 350s or 850s, or go with a newer controller. XDJs are an option too if I can afford them.
The flx4 seems like a gimmick after reading about some of the features to make your transitions sound better. Hercules and Gemini seem to have a bad reputation. At this point not sure what to do.

Premise is One person starts the HC world with natural regen turned off. Then, when they die, they pass the world on to another person.
During their time other than exploring and building, they can hide secrets in the world and set up "quests" for the future people to complete.
I LOVE this idea. And Really wanted to do a spin on the concept. My only question is, would anyone be down to also play this sort of world?

2024.11.27 16:38 Synapse_1 Inventory item limit

IIRC lots of things contribute to the item limit, such as deeds, illusions, portrait frames, stacks of chests and of course weapons/jewelry. I have a few illusions that I haven't unlocked yet and would like to open more chests to get these. But my inventory is full. I've salvaged maybe 100 reds and still cannot open anything.
I would of course like for the item limit to be increased, that would be amazing. But if that isn't possible, is there any way to see what is taking up the space? I would like to see the proportion of salvageable items versus things I cannot get rid off (not that I would sacrifice any illusions, portrait frames etc). Does anyone know what the current item limit is?

2024.11.27 16:38 maliciousloki Shelly Pro 3 - Control S1/S2/S3 with Relay?

I'm interested in using a Shelly Pro 3 to control a three-phase charging circuit for my solar system, where basically three chargers will be installed, one per phase from the grid, and I want to only have the AC side connected when the batteries are low (~20%). The expected current is around 13-14A so it's within range of the Pro 3, but to reduce complexity I would prefer not to have some kind of off-box automation, like Home Assistant or some other stuff... I would rather use the Victron Cerbo GX relay that controls generators.
My question is fairly simple - there's three "switch" inputs on the relay, one per output. The wiring diagram shows only one wire from L1 going to the L and S1/S2/S3 terminals. So if I were to connect L1 to the Cerbo's NO relay and to L on the Pro 3 (so it has operational power), and then from the NO relay's common wire to the S1/S2/S3 ports (I would switch them all at once, no individual control required/wanted), then how much current would flow?
Obviously, in a normal circuit, a switch would carry the full current of the load, but in this case I'm wondering how much current the Pro 3 would "sink" in the determination that the switch is closed? The Cerbo cannot handle 14A@120VAC going through its relay, but if it's a trickle (the relay is rated at 6A), then that would be fine. But I don't see what the power usage on the S1/S2/S3 lines are when they are "on."

2024.11.27 16:38 Sensitive-Ratio-6731 Should I officially ask out over text or in person?

So I cold call approached a girl about a week ago. Told her she was pretty and asked her number. We made plans and have met up once now and I think it went really well honestly, she confirmed after that she would be down to meet up again.
So far we haven’t used any language like “date” and have always said things like “link up” or “meet up”. I feel like I made it pretty clear from the beginning that I am attracted to her, but want to ask her out in a more official capacity if that makes sense.
My question is this: do you think it’s better to call it a date via text when we make plans to meet up, or should I “hang out” with her a second time and ask her out officially in person then?
The first time we spent time together it definitely felt like a date and it’s not like I’ve been super mysterious about my intentions but I do want to formally express my interest in her.
In my mind, sending a text is a little less pressure on her which may be appreciated. Asking her out in person the next time we meet seems like it would express more confidence and maybe be a bit more romantic. Thoughts?

2024.11.27 16:38 peapopsfox C8 2022 corvette oil pressure dropping to 0 when idle

Hi guys I need help! Idk much about cars but I just bought a c8 corvette with 10k miles and have been having an issue since the first drive home (cheeky dealership..)
In bumper to bumper traffic I was idle for around 3 minutes and the oil pressure dropped to 0 and caused the car to stall. We thumped forward and had to restart the car, was terrifying. Engine light was on.
Took it to the dealership, left it there for 2 weeks (suffering) and all they could come up with was that it must've been the battery and it just needed charging.
Got the car back, they said no issues.
Happened again not even an hour on the road. Oil pressure drops to 0 trying to shift to drive after being parked in a drive thru, stalled, engine light back on.
Anyone know wth is happening here? I really don't wanna leave my car in the dealership for more weeks just for them to have no idea what's wrong with the car. It's pretty dangerous and terrifying when it happens and I don't want to keep driving it with this issue.
Doesn't seem like a one off fluke since it's now happened twice.
Please advise!

Title says it all. Screw our manager for not scheduling a full staff but a reduced staff on thanksgiving. Side department managers are requesting off staff to come in and with reduced hours most are accepting the extra shift(s). I am really starting to hate our manager with all my fiber and I am very close to filing an ethics report on his rear for how he's been throwing me under the bus lately. I think they went over board reducing hours this severely the week of the holiday.

The intermediate issues certs and maintains the CRL.
For redundancy sake, if the intermediate server were to go down, all auth requests would be denied.
Is there a way to replicate the CRL list to the root CA server, where the redundant NPS server is?

Hi, my insurance just offered to pay out my remaining coverage as a lump sum. In the offer, the adjuster states that it is my responsibility to pay for any psychology treatments going forward. They are offering 10k for the treatments.
The amount offered for the psychology treatments would really help me in other areas, and I feel like the treatments provided are no longer needed as they were before. I would most likely seek community supports and possibly seek a less expensive counsellor (rather than a phd educated doctor) going forward.
Am I absolutely required to use that amount (10k) for psychology treatments?

Hangman’s Alley settlement build This is an update on my latest post, to summarise i spent ~90h trying to overcome the challange that is hangman’s alley and transform it in a fully fledged settlement with anything you could need and more. I would have continued to decorate with details and throw junk and organise it in the fitting areas but the game is already crashing frequently in the area
Disclaimer: It’s a PS4, thing almost melts when going around hangmans due to the sheer amount of items (mostly mannequin’s) and i tried to get settlers to their stores (have Rugs for each and every store, the only one currently used in sheffield’s chem store
Disclaimer no.2: As I said being a PS4 version mods are really that available yet i used a few for building this monstrosity: USO - main building mod for any settlement enthusiast, is available on all platforms and its one of the most popular mods of all time - adds stuff that is already in the game QwaPA - building in confined narrow spaces is a headache even for the most experienced builders to use the pillar glitch (no mod method) so this less powerfull version on Place Anywhere that is available on PS4 had to do, was a menace but did its job in the end SEO - this electricity overhaul was used to get rid of some cables that would clutter the view even more, but especially due to the ampunt of power i needed for all the lights scattered around the whole alley and i didnt want to sacrifice valuable real estate in a already small space
Although im using mods for more building freedom i bypassed the building limit vanilla way scrapping a lot of stuff repeteadly, also i buy/find most of the junk im using (helps having 3 massive waterfarms) so dont need cheat containers for that
Another mod im Using is upgraded minuteman militia (in case you’re wondering whats with the minigun wielding minuteman near sheffield) but it doesnt impact the build in any way
I know the video quality is ass but was the best i could do on the ps4 🙃👋
