Hello everyone, how are you?
I'm a C# dev and I recently had the opportunity to make software for one person in my free time. I obviously decided to do it in C#, as that's what I work with on a daily basis.
It turns out that I didn't want to bring much to the game, like an off-the-shelf Javascript framework like React or Angular, I would like to keep everything in C#, so I decided to use Blazor.
However, I have a doubt.
Could I create, within my solution, a Blazor Server Pages and a WebAPI and make my Blazor application consume this API? Or would it be overkill?
In my API project I would deal with the models, dtos, services, database connection, etc., while in my Blazor part I would communicate with the API.
If it makes sense and it is possible to do this, I would like to open this discussion with you.

Feel free to look back in my post from yesterday the day of my surgery.
Last night was a little rough. I can take my norco every 4-6 hours so I waiting until 6 hours and that was a huge mistake. I’m gonna take it religiously 4 hours at least for a few days.
Got my catheter out which was so uncomfortable but now I need to actually go on the potty and I don’t think I can sit on one yet without wanting to pass out so I’ve just been walking over the toilet facing the toilet bowl and hovering. For that reason I wish I had gotten a few extra night gowns bc I’m not ready for pants yet.
Yesterday I only had pain when I needed to get up to walk but today I have more pain and soreness while laying.so I’m more uncomfortable today but I wil say I have a little more energy. Not a lot of energy but noticeable more than yesterday.
Had a post op check up today and got fitted for a binder and bra. (As a reminding I got tt with Mr and a reduction). My stomach is completely flat and even had a little 6 pack from all the stitches in my muscle. My chest is the perfect size. I’m so happy.
Surgeon said he took 400 grams from each breast and removed about 5 inches of skin. He was happy with how everything was looking. He did not put a drain in (that was not the original plan he told me I would have 1 drain but thought everything looked good yesterday so he didn’t put on in. So that means I can shower tomorrow.
I’ve been able to eat a little soup and egg and a protein shake but still don’t have a huge appetite. Mainly just forcing myself to eat so I have energy.
Ok nap time now!

So back in the day, browser games were a thing. Millions of players logged in to Runescape, or Club Penguin, not to mention the myriad of Flash games. Fast forward to 2024, and browser games are in a different place now. The common sentiment is that the casual gaming audience has largely moved to mobile.
With that being said, new technologies such as WebAssembly and WebGPU are here, bringing with it the promise of better performance and compute shaderes for the first time ever, bringing modern compute and visuals to the web. WebGPU is a graphics API that is much closer to native API's like DirectX and Vulkan. WebGL itself based off of OpenGL which is now a very ancient way of doing graphics. Now that we will have the ability to do modern graphics on the web, what will this mean for the future of web games? If high quality browser games were a thing, would you play them?
