 | Obviously this is just for fun, nobody can really be wrong about something there isn’t a rule for, but it’s just so weird to me that some of these associations are so fundamental to my view of the world, like January being maroon, that it feels uncanny to see it as green or yellow or something. It’s funny how passionate we get about a concept that is specifically a result of our own nervous system. And it’s also weird because for all we know (though it’s probably not the case but impossible to prove), we could be seeing two entirely different colors for the word “blue” but both agree the number two is the same color 🟦 but with a different name. Hey everyone!
I’m looking for some advice, my boyfriend is a DM for a group I’m part of.
He’s an amazing DM, he’s communicative, open, creative, kind, friendly, funny, organized, etc. And it makes me so happy to see him do so well!
Anyways, lately he’s been getting in his head a lot as our group can be non-communicative. Some members of the party barely answer messages, some complete disregard ideas, etc. And I see how frustrating it is for him as he’s putting so much time and effort into it. He’s talked to our party (over the group chat & in-person) about it quite a few times. And everyone seemed to have caught the message but then it would fall down again.
I’ve been trying to be supportive to him and be understanding. I’m still new myself to DnD I’ve never played before & had barely heard of it. So I am still learning about it while trying to be supportive.
I listen to him, give my thoughts when he wants, etc. however it’s been harder for him lately and I don’t want him losing his spark :(
So I’m looking for advice on how else I could support him, and be there for him. If anyone has had similar experiences I’d love to hear what helped/worked. And as a side if anyone has any cool advice to give as a first time player learning I’d love to hear.

My question is-they want to charge 1st,last month's rent AND a security deposit, so 3x 800.00..is this normal or is this a scam?? 2024.11.27 17:50 Brief-Cut-1228 GGG I hope you don't change the difficulty during the release I want to try the hardest version of the game and I feel like this will be it. Don't change anything difficulty related at least for a month or two.
I just want to try the game for how they want it to release. This will mean a lot of crying on reddit to nerf monsters for sure. However if the game is too hard for you all I got to say to you is get good. Die in a map lock yourself out of your current atlas path tough shit find another way to go your softcore at least you keep your character. Is the game too hard as a hardcore player tough shit get good they even told ziggy to play softcore this time around. The game atleast in poe1 offers ways to make encounters easier like going back to lower tier maps and farming for better gear that is the only way players should be able to make content easier not cry at the devs for an easier experience. This game has effectively hit a massive audience so do not falter to the difficulty bashing these people played elden ring they can get good. Everyone is on a pseudo new player level even POE1 veterans I think poe1 players will scream the loudest however do not listen to us for atleast 2 months please they just think they know the game, but infact they do not reason being we have multiple six links now for example.
All in all I trust that GGG will make the right decisions for the game, however I do hope they stick to their guns even if it is to a detriment to player numbers atleast for the release if you guys are anything like me I don't have any other games holding my attention right now poe1 necro settler I didn't even play, played some pd2 that didn't hold me for long and I need the feast that poe2 will provide even if I gotta corpse throw my way through it like I did in poe1 my first playthrough long ago yes POE1 was a very hard game.

I tested positive for C.diff 6 days ago and am on day 6 of my Vancomycin treatment. My boyfriend is currently taking Omeprazole (a ppi) for a hiatal hernia that he has which causes him severe reflux. He cannot stop taking this medication. My question is: once my symptoms are gone and I am considered ‘cured’ is there a chance I could infect him even without an active infection? How can I resume a normal life and sex life with him?
The c.diff subreddit is locked, so I am not able to ask this question there. In the FAQ it states that I will be colonized for life, and can be contagious to people who are taking ppi’s, which my partner is. Is this true? How can I ever resume a normal life with my partner if so?
