My family member is in late 60s. Diagnosed a year ago with stage 3. Not able to do surgery because of location. Did chemo. It seemed to work and lowered the ca 19-9 and relieve symptoms. Did immunotherapy which has now been declared didn’t work. Major influx of symptoms- sleepy constantly, ca 19-9 to 500. What the heck? CT reveals it has spread all over. Spine, liver, omentum, stomach. So he did the pellet therapy. The numbers are lower. But my god. Anyone have experience with this? What do I expect?

 | So I’ve done a lot of research and I think I’m gonna jump into an apprenticeship program down here if the drive isn’t super far from where I live. Not seeing any IBEW only IES and other residential and commercial. Really interested in the industrial part of the trade though. Im about to finish my military contract (army 11B) been down here on the border mission for the past 3 years and I’ve just had my first baby boy got married and bought a house it all happened so fast. I’m about to be 25 years old so I’m desperately trying to figure out what I’m going to do. And fast. I’m not worried about how there going to treat me I adapt to anything. I’m ready to work. So all I need to know is. What do yall recommend I do starting out in 78148 zip code? What can I expect to get paid starting out? Will I be able to work overtime? I have bills will I be able to make atleast 4500 a month starting out if I put in the extra hours? How much will the pay go up per year of my apprenticeship? Tips for getting into industrial or what would yall recommend? I was also looking into installing solar and getting my residential journeyman’s license that way I’m skipping out on an internship or apprenticeship pretty much. I don’t know I’m a little lost but I feel I’m getting a better grasp on what I can expect, I’m just essentially trying to make a plan. I want to be making over 100-130k in Texas once I get licensed and get certifications is this even possible with 50-60 hours a week? Already getting my risk management professional (rmp-pmi) certification through the army so that might potentially help my future pay. Any information or advice helps. Also feel free to mention different career paths that can pay good money and keep me secure with my family I don’t want to be away from home 25% of the year. Already been doing that for 6 years now. I just took over an IT department from someone who ran the entire place from a central mailbox. He would come in early and spend the first two hours of his day going through the central systems mailbox and forwarding messages on to the appropriate staff. He didn't even have rules to do it for him. (incidentally, this may be part of why they realized that they needed to replace him with someone who has experience as a CIO).
In my previous organization, I had shared mailboxes by functional area, but would like to hear what other folks do. Thanks
