2024.11.27 17:49 Omax_OG Tonsil stone or something else?
I had a yellow spot quite low on my tonsils since early this year. In May I had an ENT appointment who said it’s nothing to think about, at that point it was about 1-2mm in size… very tiny.
Recently I’ve looked at my tonsils and noticed this spot on there, I’m not sure if it is the same spot as before as I haven’t monitored it for months. Went to GP and they said it looks like tonsil stone… use some mouthwash.
I’m not convinced as to what it is and with the solution I was given. Anyone able to shed some light as to what I might be looking at?

I’ve just had this awesome idea in my head when I was getting annoyed at the current engineer for F1 24 because I wanted to see how long the rain would last but instead got told “wets definitely seem like the right choice right now” and I said out loud to myself “I wanted to to know long the rain would last not the best tyre” and suddenly rushed to Reddit to share my idea of an actual AI engineer that you can talk to for specific info or strategy. I think that this would be an awesome feature! Thoughts?

Just started my first rewatch. And I noticed something in the first episode- anniversary party scene.
When Kevin announces standing on top of the pottery barn table that they aren’t moving - calls up Allison and Neil on the table. And the table immediately breaks.
They all fall down. Forget about asking Allison if she is hurt, he doesn’t remove his leg from the top of her leg. Doesn’t even attempt to.
And this is was in the sitcom world, when audiences other than his “friends” are present.
I feel that it was a very subtle detail added by the makers. Narcissists let their mask slip. We just don’t observe closely enough.
Please share if you have noticed more of such moments in the show.

So I’ve been talking to this girl and we were texting a good bit when I was at college and hung out a couple times. When I went home for thanksgiving break she started texting responding much less. We did text abt hanging out after break and going to a nice dinner when I got back and she said she would love too and was excited for it. After this though she responded a lot less but she did text like 2 times through the day saying sorry abt how she was sick so she wasn’t on her phone much and had been sleeping all day because of it. I haven’t been spamming her but this morning I asked how she was feeling and she hasn’t responded. The main point of this post is to see if i should send this text “I know you sick but if I’m bothering you or annoying you can tell me I don’t wanna be wired and keep texting you or bothering you if u don’t want me too.” Should I wait a little longer before I send this text or should I send a different text or not send anything at all. I’ve been ghosted a few times but other people but this one I can’t tell bc she still responds with interest sometimes just much much less so I can’t tell if she does or doesn’t want to talk to me.

I'm embarrassed to admit it… but I've been averaging 9 hours a day on my phone for a while…I got an iPhone when I was a sophomore in high school, and I think I've been addicted ever since...
- Before: ~9 hours each day
- Now: ~2 hours each day
- Wake up: scroll
- Eat food: scroll
- Watch TV: also, scroll
- Lay down to sleep: scroll
- Wake up at night: scroll
- 1) Hard limit of 1 hour on Insta Once I use up the hour, I can't even open Insta. I didn't want to completely delete it since I use it to communicate with friends so I still use it but not obsessively.
- 2) Turned on grayscale I hate it, and don't always leave it on… but it works when I do it. It makes your phone way less addicting, and boring to use even on the addicting apps.
- 3) Completely block social media from 7pm to 7am I racked up a lot of time while watching TV, and in the middle of the night, and in the morning... I still let myself watch TV at night, but at least I'm not double screening and I'm focused the TV which feels much more relaxing.
- 4) Find better replacements This was a important one for me. Replacing scrolling with things I'd rather do (read, play guitar, call friends, study, etc).
- I have a lot of books I have ordered but never read, so I'm keeping a book next to me to fill the small times.
- I love playing music and writing music but my guitar was collecting dust. Just playing guitar a few times a day puts me in a much more creative and relaxed mood.
- I'm calling my friends who I have not talked to in a while.
- And, I'm learning new things (in moderation). It's so easy to bombard ourselves with too much information, so I'm picking less things and going deep on them with whatever gets me excited, and with no attachment.

Hi, I wanted to hear your experience. We had our embryo was inconclusive with the first biopsy and they had to thaw and refreeze again. Then it came back normal AA grade. Now we are very worried to transfer it as we afraid that thawing for the 2nd biopsy may result in a baby with anomalies. Also, would the thawing affect the success of the pregnancy in general. TIA
