 | Wanted to share some updates to my system. Recently completed a refoam on my Advent 5012W’s. These are the largest speakers in my collection and definitely at the limit for the size of my listening bedroom. Have been primarily using my Rega Ela MK1’s (which I adore) and these feel better suited for acoustic tracks versus the electronic/ambient I tend to lean toward with the regas. Newest acquisition is the absolutely stunning Yamaha A-S2000 I’d been saving up for. While not vintage, it definitely has that vintage aesthetic and weight. Had to sell off my Thorens TD-165 to put toward it, but for the moment I’m still planning to keep my Sansui AU-717 until I can get it repaired. Really enjoying it so far and will try to provide an impression of the amp once I get some listening time in. Artist recommendation for those looking for some change of pace: Lucia Fumero. Her albums titled Folklore I and II are extremely great for detailed listening. Ich hab viel gutes über die Strains von Compound Genetics gehört, allerdings vorwiegend von US- oder kanadischen Growern. 2024.11.27 17:37 Peliquin Question for the Part 121 Crew -- Flying with a Dog
I have been planning to haul my dog from SEA to FAI in the near future, and while I've done it before and it went well, recently my brain has been freaking out at the possibility of a water landing. And I can't seem to shut it up. I realize that in the event of an emergency requiring a water landing in the northern Pacific in Feb/March, the likelihood is I die before I'm in the water, and so does the dog. But in the event that somehow we do set down and it is otherwise an ideal scenario; what's my best shot at getting her out of cargo? I realize it's both incredibly unlikely to happen and it's nearly impossible that I'd somehow get her out.
But knowing how my anxiety works, having a plan, however much a moonshot it might be, might just be the key to getting my brain to stop it. I'm looking for Hollywood heist level planning -- I'll sit in a particular seat, set up her kennel in a special way, be last off the plane, whatever it takes to SHUT UP THIS BRAIN WEASEL.

2024.11.27 17:37 Xapier007 Dimensional ascension pig spawner problem (Apotheosis?)
As the title says (for the modpack 'dimensional ascension') at version 1.19.2 of minecraft with apotheosis, the pig spawner doesn't work. I used the weapon enchantment 'capturing' to get a pig spawn egg, placed it in the spawner and it doesnt work... Any other spawner has worked so far for me. Please note that the spawner HAS a 'ignore player + light level' (which works on other spawners but not this one). I THINK the problem occurs because the pig is a BLACK pig which some mod probably adds (pig color variations or sth idk) and that may be messing it up ? Or are friendly spawners just disabled in the modpack or sth ? I could put (arther valkyries, bee dimension honey slime, nether fire slime, nether zombified piglins, nether wither skeleton, stray, skeletons) inside the spawner and all worked but the pig one didnt work...

Bought a CX55 a couple of months ago and it has a rather strange audio issue. Putting the speakers over 25%-30% induces progressively worse audio distortions, almost like the speaker is vibrating something inside the case. Is this a software issue caused by some issue with the equalizer (or some other audio settings) or do i need to send it in for repairs ?

The one on the right is the “Exploro highly sensitive” drug test and in the left is the “Easy@Home” drug test. I’ve been sober around 65 days and haven’t touched the stuff once. I took this both early in the morning because I wanted to see what I’m working with when it comes to 0 dilution. I’d also ad that it was the same specimen that was tested. Am I passing or am I failing? My test is in like 8 days and it’s being sent to surscan labs.

I am looking for suggestions on the best way to make a fillable template when people have lost their pet. I would like to share online. The template would highlight the most pertinent info to insure a successful recovery. The idea would be for them to be able to post it to social media and print as a flyer.
While a couple places offer this you have to sign up for their service. I want this to be fillable with no gotchas.
