Hey, guys! I'm new here. I wanted to find a place where I could ask for a piece of advice regarding long-distance relationships. It's probably going to be a very popular type of question 😅 Me and my girlfriend live 120 km from each other, so I visit here once in a week or two. I'm a university student, she is a high-schooler preparing for her final exams. Both of us are adults.
The problem is, she often points me out as the one who doesn't really plan or organise anything for us, doesn't really put much effort into the relationship. She is right. I don't know why, but I just struggle to come up with any activities we can do. I'm a very chill person. I love to spend time at home, read a book, play a game, study, dive into my passions for a while. I'm a bit reluctant to doing new and spontanious things. She is the opposite — she loves to do something fresh, try new things, go out, have some fun. I always try to find a place, an event, but usually we end up finding something and doing it all over again now be it going to a cinema, grabbing a coffe at a local caffe or organising a little picknick in the park. She says we either don't do anything or just go to the same places, which gets boring quickly. I also and especially struggle with activities when we're separated. Like, what can you actually do being 120 km from each other??? Play a game? Watch a movie together again? I also tried ordering her a meal or a coffee to be delivered to her house and it was a brilliant idea, she was so delighted and I was so happy with it, but it's also very pricy to me as a student for the long run 🥲 I don't know why it's so hard, but I'd really love to do something special for her, especially that she's always stresses from the enormous amount of studying she has to fill her days with and ends up exhausted and barely able to call me for a couple of minutes, before she has to go to sleep before it's too late to wake up well-rested before the next day of school.
So, the simple question is: what activities do you guys do? And most importantly: how do you find the ideas? I mainly struggle with coming up with things, so I'll be especially glad to "learn how to fish, not "get the fish themselves". To say a little bit about us: we both love literature and poetry and I think it's fair to mention we both share an interest to fantasy novels. We are both also tied to music and performing it — I play the guitar, she used to sing in a choir.

Hello everyone ! I would really love some guidance or advice about which way I should go with my career and education. I’m heavily considering either pursing Nursing, with intent to eventually get my masters, or going into Marketing. I really want to make a comfortable living but I have ADHD and I’m worried about burnout. I’m very sociable and good with people. I think I could navigate corporate America well and am very competitive, but at the same time I value being able to directly help others with nursing. I would love to do something that uses alot of critical thinking/problem solving I can’t seem to pick between the two, and it’s all I can think about. I need to choose quickly because I am attempting to transfer from my community college to whichever school(would start there in fall 2025) in my area is best for whatever I choose.I live in NC. NC state would be a good option for Advertising, but the school does not have nursing. ECU would be great for Nursing but not for marketing. UNC would be great for either nursing or business but both programs there are near impossible to get into. I do well in school, had a 4.3 in Highschool and have a 3.9 right now at my community college.
Does anyone have any advice on how to choose or which is the smarter option?

Hey, I submitted last 3 years tax returns, but most recent years income is insufficient ($16,756) because I was staying with my husband for months during it but I'm now making $41,600 which will reflect on my 2024 tax return (I submitted paystubs and an employment verification letter.). We got DQ but also got a Case FE Review note saying "A consular officer will decide if you meet these requirements at the time of the interview." but I unfortunately do not have a joint sponsor.

He has the temp in the house turned up to almost 80 degrees and refuses to wear more than a shirt and a fleece vest indoors. He will only wear jeans.
My mom was thinking some flannel lined jeans might help; and I have a SmartWool top I’ve had for years that is super warm that I think he may wear under a flannel shirt if I could find something similar.
Any other recos to keep your loved one toasty and cozy?
