2024.11.27 20:50 Lugia61617 Bit of a newbie, need solid advice
I got this game a couple of months ago, but I've only played it with my BF so far until yesterday when I finally sat down to play it in the tours.
Uh...thing is though. I have no idea how to get a good winning strategy. I feel like I'm constantly having worse luck than the CPU, and the CPU tends to be really good with stocks and investments while I'm lagging behind. I did manage to come first on the Mario Kart tour once but that took numerous resets before I was lucky enough.
The general gist I've tried so far is to find areas that the players MUST travel (though on some maps that's not as convenient) and basically stay in a small area and solely invest in that, but the luck element makes it tricky to pull off and feelsl ike the whole plan falls apart as soon as a CPU (or three) buys into the same district. Plus they're always skipping over my districts most of the time.
Then I've tried investing in CPU districts to piggy-back but it seems to just leave me impoverished most of the game.
And finally there's the vacant plots which look good but it seems like most options don't do much. I've heard the tax office is good but I haven't seen it yield, and even the shop doesn't seem THAT good either because of needing to land on it.
Any solid advice and full-game strategies, especially for dealing with the CPU players, would be great.
Man I wish this game had a two-player option.

I am trying to perform inserts on a SQL Server table with an index that has IGNORE_DUP_KEY set. This will silently ignore inserts with duplicate index values without returning an error. So things were going pretty normal for me in the morning, picked out my outfit, grabbed one of my favorite bras(This part is important) brushed my hair, showered and then after drying my hair I went to get dressed. That's when the attack happened, as I put the bra own I felt a stabbing pain on the left side of my chest and I realized the underwire of my bra had come out. I can't believe that a bra I trusted so dearly and that has supported me countless times in the past during both good and bad times has betrayed me so. It's with a heavy heart that I need to say good bye to my old friend.
For real though I'm studying today but I need other stuff to do so I don't lose my mind. 2024.11.27 20:50 NickChubbsBurner “Your previous game results are still being processed….” = I don’t get my coins
I’m not sure if this is just me but every time my opponent turns off their console/exits the game itself, I always get hit with the previous game results message and then proceed to never get my coins, even after going in and out of the game multiple times. This even happens my opponent just concedes a game like normal. I rely on these coins because I don’t spend money on the game and I need everything I can get. Obviously something like this would never get fixed because it doesn’t have anything to do with EA making money but I was wondering if anyone else had this issue.
