When I was studying for the LSAT last year, I studied like I never have before. Every day for hours a day, tutoring every week, and constant stress because I knew I needed to compensate for a low GPA. I eventually took the August test hoping for the 170s, and fell short of my goal by 8 points.
I knew I had put in the work, I knew that I had the knowledge and skills to get the score I wanted, but one thing was missing: my mental game. When I took that first test I panicked, I felt like I couldn't read, I couldn't think straight, it was a miracle I even came close to the 170s. This wasn't new either, I had had issues with focus since I had started taking PTs months earlier. But before that, I had never stressed about a test so much, and I had always thought myself a good test taker.
After that first test I took a break, I knew that I had learned everything I needed to learn from the months of studying and tutoring I did before the first test, I just needed to relax. So I started getting more causal with my studying. I was back in school and had other things to focus on anyway. I still kept up with a PT a week and some light review, but that was about it. Again, I had did the brunt of the work already, I just needed to polish up here and there and get my mind right.
By the time my second test came around, I felt much more relaxed. I had done this before, I knew what it was like going to that testing center. And when I tell you that second test felt like the easiest thing I had ever done, I am not lying. This isn't me bragging either. I knew what it was like to look at the screen and not understand what I was looking at, watching the section time slip away and not being able to do a thing about it. But I was able to relax because I had did it before, and I took some of the importance off of it. This was just another PT.
Do not neglect the mental aspect of this test. For many of us, this is one of the most important tests we ever have or ever will take in our lives, and I can't deny that that significance is going to weigh on you. It certainly did on me. Do not get discouraged if you don't get the score you want after your first test, that is rarer than you think, and now you are way more set up to succeed on your next test, as you have had that experience.
If you have any questions about some more specifics on what I did and how you can implement some of this stuff, please reach out. Teaching LSAT concepts is one thing, but I find the mental aspects to be even more rewarding.

I knew that in addition to being used for humanitarian aid that HesabPay was being used as a de facto bank for the bankless. But I didn’t quite grasp the scope of it. Apparently, around 30% of all electricity bills in Afghanistan are paid using HesabPay.
That’s a truly remarkable statistic and shows just how big of a real world impact crypto can have outside of the degen culture that dominates our attention.
Imagine HesabPay being replicated in the countless other developing nations. I can’t think of a better story that would soften crypto’s image in the mainstream.

Sie bezieht aktuell Buergergeld und hat von ihrer Vermieterin eine sehr Hohe Betriebskostenabrechnung erhalten (ca. 1600 Euro). Die Bundesagentur fuer Arbeit sagt, dass diese zu Hoch sei und dass sie diese bitte pruefen soll. Leider hat sie aktuell sehr wenig Geld um z.B. die Betriebskostenabrechnung ueber den Mieterverein pruefen zu lassen. Gibt es da vielleicht eine Loesung?
Die Vermieterin droht mit Kuendigung. Sie hat Kontakt zur Bundesagentur fuer Arbeit aufgenommen und wartet auf einen Rueckruf.
