Hello all I am asking for your help and past experiences!
I am trying to book the best mini honeymoon I can for next July 20-27! 7 nights unless affordable enough to add an extra night or two.
I have been searching everything when it comes to all inclusives this past week and I am having a hard time deciding on one. Me and my Fiancée are in our mid 20’s and are really just looking for an AI that is worth spending thousands. The resort that might be the front runner as of now is Excellence Punta Cana.
I am asking if anyone would suggest another resort other than this based on the 3 things dearest to us: 1. Food quality 2. Luxury 3. Plunge pool
Our budget is 10k and we think we want to stay in the Caribbean but could be convince on a Mexico resort if it is right. What is your favorite All Inclusive you’ve ever stayed at for a week with a 10k budget?

2024.11.27 19:40 throwawaycape Has anyone here done an engine swap?
I have a Subaru Baja (2003, 2.5l manual) that I've owned for less than a year. Long story short, the shop that sold it said the timing belt and head gaskets had been replaced. Yesterday at about 146k miles the timing belt went out while driving down the road. Had it towed to a shop and I was told that I'd likely need to replace the engine, and they quoted me about 6000. I paid around 7500 for the car.
The car has virtually no rust, it's in good shape otherwise. I'm considering the possibility of doing the engine swap myself. I have some extra garage space and it looks like I could pick up an engine hoist on marketplace for a few hundred bucks. I have a car I can drive in the meantime, even if it takes me a little while. I've done a lot of my own car maintenance but this is a much bigger project than anything I've done to my own car. It seems like it'd make more sense to swap the engine than to buy another used car.
Has anyone done this before? Any tips for sourcing a new engine? If I got an engine with 50k miles, should I go ahead and do the gaskets and belt while I'm at it, before I put the new old engine in the car?

So I M21 met this girl F23 while on a week long cruise vacation, along with a few other new friends I made while on there. Everything was going fine, me and her were building up some really good chemistry between the both of us, with that chemistry becoming stronger as each day went on. Laughing, funny convo’s, just general vibing with one another as one would expect, until the last day came along and I decided I’d make an actual move on her which worked out for me in the end, as kissing and other sorts of physical affection came with it.
We practically hung out for the rest of the night, just me and her, while the rest of the group ventured off to do their own thing. Though throughout that time of spending that last time with one another she kept expressing how much she’d miss me and whatnot, and I of course express that I’d also miss her back, especially after the somewhat strong bond we’ve build in such a short time. Anyways, we talked about how life back home was for both of us, with her saying she often travels a lot and whatnot, you know just your average conversation with getting to know about one another’s home life.
Anyways, we hung out till the next morning, deciding it’d be best to go back to our rooms to prepare ourselves to leave with the few remaining hours we had left before everyone had to leave the ship since the cruise would be coming to an end, I walked her to her room and then walked back to mine and decided to use the last 2-3hrs to get some sleep in so I’m not moving about like a zombie when trying to leave, and when I woke up, I woke up to a text from her saying “I already miss you” which I responded back with “I miss you already so so much more”, anyways after that an hour or so passed and she hadn’t responded back to me yet, but I didn’t think anything of it, so I went ahead and expressed with a brief short paragraph how I enjoyed spending time with her, wishing her safe travels and such. And ever since then she just hasn’t replied back with anything, only to see like another hr later she added me on Snapchat, but why?
It’s been 2 days now and I’m still wondering.

i'm using Aorus 7 9KF laptop and i need some alternative to GCC, i'm mainly concerned with performance modes, rgb is a case of 3 ell.
The other thing is a problem with sound and video. Although I don't have any problems with my laptop, sometimes I can hear clipping sound and slight lag of the laptop, I can feel it when moving the mouse. The paste has not been changed since new, I have one in reserve, but I am still holding off on using it. In games this problem does not occur, mostly you can hear it when using youtube and using the laptop.
