2024.11.27 21:29 PilotDoggo1 HELP - Dying guinea pig
My sister's guinea pig was just found almost halfway out of her cage, dangling through one of the square holes with both front legs and head curved down. My sister was screaming and very scared but I immediately did my best to slowly get the pig out of the whole - the guinea pig is still breathing, but somewhat sporadically, and every once in a while will make weird back and hind leg movements. She's still blinking and warm but cannot get up, and I dont want to risk having her try to stand to risk mroe harm.
Were guessing she was stuck for around 2 hours, since she was just fine this morning.
Is the pig forver paralysed? I wont tell my sister this but it sounds like she may have to be put down. We are calling vets right now waiting to see if theyll take her in as an emergency without an appointment.
What else should we do? Please help

I’m 24 and me and my partner have been together nearly 2 years married 6 months and I feel so defeated. We are currently seeing an endocrinologist and I’m on my second round of Letrozole, the first round went great, I ovulated my progesterone level was 22.6 7DPO but didn’t conceive unfortunately.
I feel like I’m going everything I can and I’m still not conceiving, I’m trying to not let it get to me but I truly feel so defeated and depressed regarding it all.

Oh, covert narc (CN) wayward husband.
The greatest love of his life is work and always has been. It doesn't matter which job it is. Work is where he gets his supply of lonely, needy, vulnerable single moms.
Since work has been his lifelong love and addiction, he does something subtly punishing, all while claiming it's not true. But it is. I have been tracking it. I know. I'm crazy.
On the evening before holidays, on holidays when his office is open, the day before he takes (rare) vacation time, and on every Friday, CN always, always stays at work a minimum of two hours late. Often, it's much later.
Now, this is a guy who regularly stays at work late, but he occasionally has the capacity to leave work a mere hour after the end of his shift. But no, if there's a holiday, a weekend, or time off coming up? MOAR WORK!
Now, CN works in a white-collar job. He is salaried. He does not receive an extra dime for all these extra hours. And there is NO ONE in the office after 5:00 pm on Fridays (really, more like 3:00 pm), and it is a ghost town the day before holidays, or on holidays. But, no, no, CN MUST use those times to stay at work extra late. Somehow, there's a crisis, unfinished work, etc. Weird how it ALWAYS lines up with these dates.
Even the CEO gets the fuck out before holidays, and on weekends. In fact, the CEO scheduled a Friday meeting at 4:00 pm, and CN was sad that it was a "rushed" meeting. Meaning, the dude wanted to get out on time, which was 5:00 pm. How does CN not understand that no one else wants to fucking hang out in the office for extra hours on a Friday?
This is punishment and avoidance. It makes it so any last-minute holiday prep falls on me. And it makes it so he has an excuse to be extra tired and even more irritable during the holiday/time off because of his devotion to WORK. I think it gives him an excuse to be more of a miserable bitch than usual, during the holidays.
I feel kind of batty bringing this up. Has any one else gone through this with a narc?

Thanks to everyone who responded. I did speak to the studio manager, who apologized ane said they would remind him and other coaches about not touching treadmills and respecting medical limitations...however that this coach's brand was being "tough" and not to take it personally, and if I wanted him to back off from the "motovational" comments I should let him know that it personally doesn't work for me. According to the studio manager other people love him and his style. I looked at his instagram and it is indeed his brand. He captions every post with something about "I'm not mean, I'm tough!" And other "motivational" things. I'm beginning to think maybe this studio's culture and the clientele are very different from what I'm used to. It is a much younger customer set in a more urban area, 20s/early-mid 30s vs the late 30s, 40s, middle aged-ish suburb crowd that was in my much smaller hometown. Maybe they do indeed like the push.
The good news, I found out ... this coach is looking to start to winding down his class schedule soon. He is moving to a new full time opportunity so eventually he will be off the schedule hopefully and I won't have to worry about him again.
