Guys please help me , I am a neet aspirant (19F) this is my second drop and I am not able to focus on my studies becoz of my abusive hosehold. My brother(21M) is also a neet aspirant , this year it's his fourth drop . He is not at all serious about anything in his life and dosent study a bit. 2024.11.27 20:50 scarlet_gene How long did it take for pelvic inflammatory disease to go away? What antibiotics worked for you?
I started experiencing some strange pain in my groin area about two month ago, I went to the gp who said it’s probably not anything to worry about as I’m under a Fertiity clinic and always having scans done and said they would of found something if it was bad and that it might be because I have fibromyalgia.
I asked about endometriosis as I get heavy periods and have been trying for a baby for 2.5 yrs. Gp said it could be but hard to diagnose and would need a laparoscopy.
A few weeks later pain gets really bad - pains inside left groin and abdominal pain. I wee a lot anyway but notice I was weeing way more. Went to out of hrs and they did a urine test - found high white blood cells have me antibiotics for uti. A week later pain still bad and not improving went to out of hrs again and was told pelvic inflammatory disease but they didn’t give me any antibiotics was told to go to gp.
Gp wouldn’t give me anything - was going round in circles so I paid for a private gynaecologist appointment as I am concerned it could be endometriosis and because of the infertility issues.
I have been taking doxycycline that I brought online to try get rid of it but been taking 4 days and not much improvement. The gynaecologist said he thinks it is PID and gave me doxycycline and metronidazole.
Did anyone see any improvement after taking both drugs ? I am still concerned it may be endometriosis but I am hoping the antibiotics work and I will hopefully be pain free. Also I have done another urine test and there was no infection found or no high white blood cells this time.

Hey, apologies if this is in the wrong place but the band I'm in are on the hunt for a vocalist.
We're a 3 piece ChesteWrexham based progressive punk/metal band with a backlog of about 8 songs currently and with more in the works.
There are some demo recordings below to give you an idea of what we’re about.
As for us, we are currently a 3-piece and looking to expand to include a singer. We consist of a guitarist, bassist and drummer and are in our early 30s.
We’re based in ChesteWrexham but predominantly practice in a unit in Wrexham’s industrial estate. Most of us are happy to give lifts if that’s needed.
No gear necessary, just a promising voice and some enthusiasm
