Title basically sums it up. Three weeks ago my heat wasn't working, called maintenance and they told me I was using my thermostat wrong. Get home from work today and my apartment was 61 degrees. Called maintenance but they're "off hours". Called the emergency maintenance line three times since I got home and got the same "someone will be in route shortly. I pay almost $1300 a month. I am beyond furious and positive this is against the law but idk what to do. We have a winter storm warning in effect starting tonight. I'm worried I'll be trapped in a heatless apartment all weekend.

Let's start by saying that idk if i had to post this in sewing or smth, but i have no experience at all in sewing. However, i'd really like to make a plushie that resembles a "character" (silly ball) from a videogame i like. It looks pretty easy (img 1), but i have a question for the future: is it possible to create 3d spikes like in img 2? Possibly using soft materials, too. OH also, what material do you think i should use for the bodies and the various features (there are a few different types of slimes)? I already looked up a tutorial for the shape, but idk the materials :) ty!
