So I’m applying to two Canadian universities for anthropology (and to explain it better I do not have a background in Anthropology but have taken a few courses and audited them. Also I have a plan as to why I’m pursuing this program). My question is if I focus on topics such as the oppression of certain East Asian countries under imperialist powers or exploring sexuality in east Asia, would these count? Or should I focus elsewhere? The program requires a MRP topic + potential supervisors. Thanks.

So... CPC you wanna explain?? So this is the caliber of work that CPC union feels they deserve more money for. Allow me to elaborate. This is a condo complex where porch pirates were especially bad, they patrolled the area and stole all kinds of packages. This is how CPC decided to safeguard our mail. I happen to be walking by to notice all these boxes open and full of mail. No CPC car or mail carrier in sight. Hmm... seemed odd to me as a former CPC employee. So I happen to know there is a depot not 300m from this mailbox so I call. Talk to the floor manager and he says he can not send someone over to guard or lock up the boxes because it's not in his jurisdiction. What a crock... so I have to call CPC head office to explain the situation and they tell me a manager is on the way to deal with this. Well 2 hours later with me standing in the hot sun guarding my neighbors mail, a manager in a 130k Mercedes convertible shows up, barely acknowledges what I did for them, locks up and takes off. It was a silver car and you know who you are.... this is the type of shit that deserves more wages? Shame on all of you. SHAME SHAME SHAME

The funnier part is that I got an advert for an adblocker which I shouldn't have gotten because I pay a fucking subscription to block adverts. I have seen old posts about this from a few years ago. Is anyone having this happen lately?

I have the issue that when I first hit submit to collect the user input data and run the code, g.dummylist=[['X', 'Y]['A','B']. when I hit submit to collect user input the second time (and hence run the code again) g.dummylist=[['X', 'Y],['A','B'],[['X', 'Y],['A','B'].
Why is g.dummylist data appended, even though I explicitly re-initialized it? i also tried using g. , and g,dummylist.clear() but none are working.
any hints?

Hey Reddit! I would appreciate hearing your opinions on this dilemma :)
I've developed an app like ChatGPT but:

Most users spend around $3 per month, while AI subscriptions are around $70 combined. They're saving $67 per month!
Given these savings, I initially branded the app as CheapAI (cheap-ai.com), being heavily inspired by NameCheap. However, I've realized that "cheap" can imply low quality.
Now my question is: Would you have a negative first impression when seeing "CheapAI"? Do you think there is a better name?
