Looking to pick this up for Black Friday:
- Microfreak + Crave + Edge. I'll also be buying the behringer UMC1820
I currently have: Windows PC, Powered Studio monitors, Bitwig Studio, many VSTs including some of the V collection, Vital, Odin 2, Surge XT etc. and Ozone Elements. I also regularly use VCV Rack and Cardinal. I own a Launchpad Pro mk 3, a Launch Control XL, and a circuit tracks.
Circuit tracks will be used for drum machine and some polysynth duties as needed.
My goal is to do a hybrid setup for now with the DAW handling FX, mixing and recording. Adding any additional instruments/polysynth in post and possibly then arranging/producing if needed.
My hope is to use the external gear recorded into the DAW, but live jammed for fun/hobby/exploration. I am not interested in buying one large polysynth at this time or exploring a tracker workflow or sampling.
I do want a desk full of fun and engaging devices that each have a function/job/role in the music. That one does bass, that one does percussion etc.

I am making a robot which needs to get from point A to point B without crashing into obstacles. Should I implement a SLAM software like I planned or is there a simpler solution? I only have a Lidar sensor, but I am able to buy cheap sensors if needed. Thanks so much for the input:)

 | Hi all. I have this corn plant which I think might have termites. The top 3/4 inches of the largest stem has peeling bark and those brown pellets (termite frass?). I peeled off some of the bark and found the shells of insects which I'm thinking may be termites. I just find it weird that they'd only be at the top of the largest stem and not the others. I got this plant in April and I noticed it a long time ago, but only learned about termite poop today. I stopped watering it for almost two months in the summer and since then I've only watered it about once a month so the plant gets pretty dry. So what do you guys think? Big strategy game fan. Played a year ago and felt very "meh" about it. Went back to planetfall, Civ 6, and slay the spire for a year.
Came back with ways of war and it is so much better. The strategy is so crunchy and deep. And there is more coming? I think we may have a classic on our hands.
