2024.11.28 00:38 __proximity__ Help with submitting a WACV workshop paper
Hi Everyone,
I have never submitted a paper to any conference before. I have to submit a paper to a WACV workshop due on 30 Nov.
As of now, I am almost done with the WACV-recommended template, but it asks for a Paper ID in the LaTeX file while generating the PDF. I’m not sure where to get that Paper ID from.
I am using Microsoft CMT for the submission. Do I need to submit the paper first without the Paper ID to get it assigned, and then update the PDF with the ID and resubmit? Or is there a way to obtain the ID beforehand?
Additionally, What is the plagiarism threshold for WACV? I want to ensure compliance but would appreciate clarity on what percentage similarity is acceptable.

So last night i was stupid and horny and went on Omegle to see if i will stumble upon someone interesting .
After few minutes i got connected to some random girl that was showing only eyes and not the body which at start should turn on some red flag lamp in my mind but being blinded by horniness i decided to let that slide.
Soon after our chat turned sexual but she didnt want to do anything on omegle and asked me to add her on instagram and i did .
Over there she texted me first and we got to talking which brings me to SECOND red Flag .
She begged me to go on Discord that i have but honestly didnt want to use my legit discord name .
So then we started getting our clothes off and the video was so convincing that i didnt suspect nothing
After 5 minutes she send the Threat , showing that she has 2 alleged videos of me jerking off with my face and my dick in the frame .
She then made me make a discord profile and add her sending me screenshots of my Instagram Account and the video ready to send to few of the girls i been friends with.
First she wanted me to send money through one app that i honestly forgot the name for , that didnt work because my country is east european where those apps simply doesnt work .
Second app was remitly and up to this moment i was ready to do it , make a profile and send the money but then it hit me - she can post that video regardless and i just said fuck it .
But during my state of huge panic i revealed my Country and my country money . Big mistakes i believe .
I don‘t know why but i also asked her to send me those two videos and they are both 2mb which i found suspiciously low for a video .
I managed to download it but it doesnt open and in my file app is titled as- Untitled 2 windows media 2 but it doesnt open or do anything .
i blocked her on discord and reported the account and did the same for her Instagram Account.
I didn‘t heard anything back from her , i also put my Instagram and Facebook profile on private , and changed privacy settings on both , i also deleted that remitly app and deleted Discord profile completely before i reported and blocked her .
I took the Liberty and texted 3 girls in my instagram friends and asked them if they recieved anything weird from my Account or some other suspicious Account, all of them said they didnt recieve anything thank God .
I AM SO SCARED NOW
What should i do ? What are my options , will this person leak those videos ?
She didn‘t try to reinitiate the contact and i didnt get any emails or calls from strange numbers but im still so anxious and nervous.
So what are your thoughts on all of this ? Advices ?

I want to follow the 3-2-1 method but without relying on services or building another system. What I have landed on is dedicating an HDD to clone important data/files to, storing that HDD securely off site, and on a regular basis (like monthly) reinsert, update with any changes, and then return to secure location.
Is this an easy thing to do? Ideally Unraid would support just updating changes and cloning information from just selected folders (like not my Plex stuff too).
Disclaimer: Just started my Unraid journey the past few days, so still new to this. Sorry if this is an obvious question.

Basically what it says on the tin. I am in search of Harmony fics where they strongly embody the sort of loyalty and love that would have them saying such things as 'I would follow you anywhere'. Can anyone recommend some good fics that fit this 'vibe'.
I suppose it could be argued that Hermione saying 'I'll go with you' to Harry when he's leaving to basically die against Voldemort fits this idea too.
PS. Not personally interested in the Yandere/Fanatical sort of loyalty between them.

I'm pretty new to the game, so sorry if this is a dumb question. Started my Hobbit-career and finally went to Bree at lvl 19 (So much stuff to go overleveled on the way :D). Now I'm in the The Prancing Pony where you can find Gandalfs room. But he stands there with a grey ring (normally the sign for too overleveled to get XP from a quest right?) but I can't even click on him. I don't wanna miss a quest that Ganalf is providing :/ What's the deal about it?
