TL;DR; : I started talking w a guy “18M” 3 months ago, I’m “19F” he was the one who texted me first, but it was like a “dream” for me, because before it I had a crush on him 7 months ago, so, my dream was coming true.
When we started talking, I think I made a big mistake, because I idealized him way too much, I knew him when he was in a relationship, so I knew he was able to give too much love to someone, and I thought that was the kind of love I wanted too. He acted like a prince with his ex. But when we started talking, I noticed he was not the prince I thought he was, he was a human being, one who isn’t perfect, but getting to that conclusion took like a month, a month of disappointments for me. The thing is that we didn’t get to be too close emotionally in that month, so things were weird. We started hanging out, specially at nights and we ended up doing THAT, but still we didn’t have a close relationship, like emotionally. And after we did that, we continue for more time, but I felt really sad because he didn’t want commitment and he also told me he didn’t know what he felt about me, still we continue talking and hanging out, but we were not close at all. Things get worse, at a point that he ignored me one entire day, and I lost my mind, then the next day he texted me back but I didn’t respond, for two weeks or more, until he sent a message saying that he missed me, and we started talking again. But this time it was different, I felt closer to him, more open, more communicative and I felt like he was putting in more effort, and he was so cute and kind with me. Until one day, he started ignoring me for hours, saying he was busy, and I tried to understand him until last night, when he ignored me for approximately 5 hours and then he js said that he couldn’t be in his phone, so I asked him if he was ok, and he said “yeah, why?” And I said “I was js asking” and he left me on delivered. Now I’m literally losing my mind, because I feel like I give all of me, and I get nothing from him. He has been ignoring me all this day, and I feel like he hasn’t get over his ex or there is someone else. That makes me more sad because I feel like I wasn’t enough, like I the love, care, understanding, time and energy wasn’t enough for him to choose me, and this sadness and disappointment feels so overwhelming that I need to detach myself NOW. Ngl, this is affecting me so much, last time we stopped talking I was crying everyday, and now isn’t different. you guys know what could I do?
