There is a lot of pretty specific information here that makes this relatively identifiable, but fuck it.
There are two components to this.
One: My sister is boy-crazy. Has been since she hit puberty, and still is now, pushing forty years old. She hasn’t been single longer than a few months since she was a teenager. She has a ‘failed’ engagement, three divorces, and a few toxic boyfriends under her belt with no sense of slowing down. And yes, unfortunately, there are kids involved. They’re constantly moving house, and she’s relocated them to different states for these men, multiple times. They have no stability. I don’t know if my sister just doesn’t realize how negatively this affects them, or if she thinks they’re fine and can adapt to any situation she moves them into. I do know that the last divorce really fucked with their heads. Everyone around her has told her to stop, to slow down, but she is convinced every man she meets is the love of her life.
Two: About a year ago, I was in fairly desperate need of a new car. I was driving one of those notoriously easy-to-steal kinds, and I was living in a not-great area, and it had gotten broken into. My sister had bought a new car and hadn’t gotten rid of her old one yet, so I sold my car and bought hers. It seemed like a good idea, she took it in for all of its inspections and oil changes, and its engine was theoretically supposed to last another 150k miles. Obviously, that wasn’t the case, or else I wouldn’t be here.
In the past few months, I have had to get extensive work on the car. Major breakdowns kept happening, one after another. I had to take a loan from my parents to pay for it, and then finally a few weeks ago it broke for good. All in all, I spent about $11k on this car (the car itself + repairs) only to drive it for about a year. Clearly, not worth the money. I traded it in and got a new (to me) car- one that was reliable. I can technically afford it, but it has put me back a LOT, to the point where I am looking for a second job.
Now, I don’t blame my sister. I knew it wasn’t her fault, she took good care of it. I knew (or thought) she didn’t have much to her name (her job doesn’t pay great and she has two kids), so I figured the money I gave her was already gone, and it was what it was.
However, when I was telling her about the car- the debt- the second job- the stress- she chose that exact moment to “complain” to me about how she has too much money in the bank (from her most recent divorce) and it’s going to cause a problem with my niece getting financial aid for college, so she’s going to buy a house with her boyfriend of six months. It felt like a huge slap to the face. I am barely keeping my head above water, and the burden of having such a full bank account is so heavy that she just HAS to make another monumentally stupid decision.
She is so self-absorbed, it has honestly killed every good thought or feeling I had for her. She hasn’t learned a single lesson. She keeps over-committing to these guys, making herself and her children’s well-being completely dependent on them, with absolutely no care for how these decisions negatively affect others. I am just done with her. I don’t even want to be around her anymore. AIO?

I made a $21 order and never recieved the order and only got $8.00 in refund and when I called customer service they also refused to give a full refundfor an item I DID NOT GET and they hung up on me! Had RNY 8 days ago. I'm still on liquid diet and everything is going down fine. Protein, broth, jello, body armor for electrolytes. But water is very uncomfortable. When I swallow it, it is followed by a long cramp as it makes it's way down. Nothing else I drink does this, only water. Anybody else experience this or maybe have an explanation?

Two years ago today was your last day with me, although we didn't know that at the time. It was just a normal day of recreation as it was a rare day off work for me and we decided to go out for the day to a place we hadn't been yet. Just a simple day with you and our two fur babies.
I won't go into details but by later that night we knew you wouldn't wake up and it was just a matter of time. Two days later you passed peacefully with your family at your bed side.
I am so glad and honoured that you chose to spend your life with me and I don't think you would've changed anything about that day even if you could add you didn't it with your three favourite people on earth, me, Rocky and bear (fur babies).
It is so hard without you here and if it wasn't for my job and the boys I honestly don't think I would still be here to write this but as time goes on (even though it's still bloody hard) life is settling down somewhat and I'm slowly finding my new normal. It's still hard to not start in bed all day and try to forget that the rest of the world still exists but the more I get up the easier it gets.
I could go on for ages but this is Reddit haha
You were my rock, well you are my everything babe and I still hope it's just a bad dream even though somewhere deep inside I know it's all unfortunately real.
It is my privilege to be your husband and I was humbled to be in your presence. You are my hero sweetheart and it's your memory that is giving me the ability to keep going at all.

I just want to make sure i’m doing everything right. please be kind. - I have a Par38 halogen bulb with a reptizoo dimmer hitting his temp around 105-110 degrees Fahrenheit. - I have a Temperature Gun to keep track of his basking temp a long with a regular temperature gauge on his cool side. -I have a Reptisun UVB T5 10.0 that covers half of his enclosure - Half of his enclosure has Ceramic Tile while the other half has a mix of topsoil and play sand which has been baked - He gets either 10 large crickets 2-3 times a week or 5 dubias (gut loaded) -He gets a variety of greens a day (mustard greens, collard greens, etc.) -Along with some staple veggies (carrots, kale, bell peppers, broccoli, Cucumber, etc.) -He gets a little calcium with D3 and always calcium without D3
