Hey! So I was new to Outlier when I decided to mass apply. I passed the Maths, so I kept it and started tasking--so far so good tho problems were extremely challenging and complex. I even have friends tried the platform too, and so I am due with referral bonuses. My problem is, I did sign to a different field of expertise using a different email but all the same IDs without knowing that it was not allowed. When I signed into my second Outlier Account, my dashboard says they are taking the account on hold since they have detected that I have another account. Then I discovered that my main Math account got flagged after some time. I therefore concluded that they had banned my Math account because of the second account. I therefore deleted the second account.
The thing is, the flagged Math account still has active referral going on. My payment is in forever "pending" mode and it seems like no payment from referral bonuses are going in.
My question is, am I still paid for those referral links on my Math account? I think it's just unfair that they aren't paying me for it when I did work for the people I have referred to. Like I legit marketed the company to my friends whom I think needed a side hustle too. I though this is gonna help them and also me, at least it's gonna be a win-win.
I messaged their support and still has not gotten a response regarding the payments yet. I am just getting a generic AI response for now. :(

Hello everyone,
I have a couple of questions regarding the J1 visa and my options moving forward.
- Is it possible to obtain a new DS-2019 with a new sponsor in a different state after my current one expires? the 2-year home requirement applies.
- How can I request an advisory opinion to determine whether I’m subject to the two-year home residency requirement? Is this the same process as applying for a waiver?
Instead, my funding came from a university in a European country (Country Y), where I study (but do not permanently reside). I arrived in the U.S. as an exchange student on a J1 visa, and my DS-2019 is set to expire on December 20.
Now that my program is ending, I want to stay in the U.S. to gain some work experience. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find any opportunities in the state where the sponsor is.
I appreciate any advice or insights, and I apologize for the lengthy post. Thank you!

Tenho 26 anos, terminei a faculdade esse ano. Estou me sentindo cada vez mais solitario, não tenho amigos e convivencia com a familia é um pouco dificil. Quando era mais jovem ainda tinha alguns amigos, mas na escola sempre fui excluido por ser de uma classe social mais baixa (tinha bolsa numa escola privada). Ao adentrar na faculdade tentei me inserir nos grupos, mas nunca senti que tinha um amigo de verdade. Na epoca da pandemia e ate um pouco depois, me esforcei muito para ser amigo de umas pessoas que eram do meu grupo da faculdade, sempre tentei estar presente, sempre tentei ajudar seja com coisas da faculdade ou fora dela. Porem, descobri que essas pessoas se reuniam quase que diariamente no Discord para jogar conversa fora ou até jogar algo. Nunca fui chamado para essas coisas. Depois disso, me esforcei mais para ser inserido nesse grupo, porem sentia que nao fazia efeito. Decidi entao por desistir e me afastar.
Tentei me encaixar em outro grupo, me dou bem com eles, mas ngm me ve como amigo ali, mais um conhecido. Estou bem longe da minha familia, pois a faculdade é em outra cidade do mesmo estado, porem creio que nao conseguiria voltar para la pela questao de emprego (estou prestes a entrar em uma empresa). Me sinto muito fracassado por nao ter amigos, nao ter ninguem para conversar todos os dias, eu simplesmente nao consigo mais me conectar com as pessoas. Fico até pensando se sou uma pessoa ruim ou se algum determinado comportamento meu afasta os outros.
Nesse momento estou extremamente triste. Acho que vou ficar sozinho por toda minha vida. Estou alguns dias sem falar com ninguem, a ultima vez foi com o RH do emprego para passar alguns documentos. Eu sinto que se nao tiver no emprego ou em algum local, nao vou ter relacoes sociais com ninguem, morrerei só.
Alguem ja passou por isso? Acho que nao é normal a pessoa nao ter com quem conversar.

Sorry if this has been asked before - I tried searching the sub but didn't find any relevant results. I started using Eucerin for my melasma, but found my tinted mineral sunscreen doesn't layer over it - terrible pilling. Does anyone have suggestions for a tinted mineral sunscreen that plays nice with Eucerin Anti-Pigment? I have bone dry skin, so something hydrating is always a bonus. TIA!

2024.11.28 01:30 thhrrroooowwwaway Does anyone else's "episodes" have periods where it happens consistently or not have one for months-years?
So, im self suspecting, whats the point of trying to get diagnosed? I can't do it on command and it would be a waste of money for an MRI on me or the NHS's behalf's, so self suspecting is all i got. I don't know what causes it, its just random. I meet the "symptoms" and haven't heard of anything else that might be it other than this. Ive had it all my life on and on. Usually happens more often during stressful times but others it just happens.
Anyways, for me they're really weird. All my life they would last 30 minutes to the dot. But this year they've been only lasting 15, very quick out and back in but too far and then back out to baseline (its always the same, always has been). It freaked me out the first time it happened because it was never that quick before, i also hadn't had it in a while so it caught me off guard. I'm having one right now, pretty disorienting to type this because it's so damn small right now. It doesn't effect my sight so although its tiny asf, i still see as i would if it was normal, just small, does that make sense?
So since February 2023, i have been tracking it. So id be writing down in my notes app what day, date and year it happened, what time it started (or i noticed), when it ended (or felt normal again). From 1st of March to 30th of July 2023, it seemed to happen almost everyday, even up to 4 times a day. Then suddenly they stopped all together until the 6th of October, then again on the 9th of November and just now 28th of November. But only this 3 times its been lasting for half as long as it has my whole life. I have no idea why. So this year ive had 44 and the gap before my first this year was 15 months. Its just weird how it was happening so often and had such a huge gap and now suddenly its picking up, even faster now. I also notice i have (and always had) those kind of ones where its like "im gonna do it" and you feel its a bit off for a few minutes and then changes its mind. I experience more of them than actual ones. I don't count them but I'm starting to think i should because they happen during the "gaps" where they're absent.
Its not a problem, its just odd you know? Does anyone experience this too? Thanks.

The UK is looking to position itself as a global leader in integrating crypto assets and traditional finance, Tulip Siddiq said. During the Tokenization Summit, the current Treasury Secretary highlighted the British government’s positive stance towards cryptocurrencies.
The event took place last Thursday, November 21 in London and was attended by representatives of public bodies and major European banks.

In her speech, Siddiq, a Labour Party politician, highlighted the importance of the financial services sector to the UK economy. She also noted that economic innovation has been a constant in the country's history, recalling that it was the first to establish a stock exchange in 1801.
The United Kingdom and its commitment to cryptocurrencies As an example of the government's efforts, the Treasury Secretary presented the Digital Securities Sandbox, an initiative created in collaboration with the Bank of England and the Financial Conduct Authority. This project, launched on September 30, 2024, allows the trading of traditional financial assets, such as stocks and bonds, in the form of tokens.
The sandbox aims to improve transparency and traceability in transactions, increasing investor confidence. Furthermore, asset tokenization facilitates “atomic settlement,” where payment and transfer of ownership occur simultaneously. However, to implement this solution efficiently, a blockchain-based settlement instrument is required, with stablecoins currently being the most viable option.
New Public Debt Token: DIGIT During the event, the British government also announced the launch of a new digital debt instrument, called DIGIT. This token will initially be tested in the sandbox before being introduced to the financial markets.
The aim of DIGIT is to leverage the benefits of distributed ledger technology (DLT) in the issuance of public debt. It also seeks to promote the development of platforms and infrastructures based on DLT, while maintaining the same standards of security and support that characterise the British capital market.
Integration of cryptoassets and traditional finance For Siddiq, the integration of cryptoassets with traditional finance should not be seen as an isolated process. On the contrary, this union represents an opportunity for both sectors to benefit from each other.
The UK’s commitment to innovation reflects the growing interest in crypto assets among its citizens. As Europe’s second-largest economy, the country is looking to establish itself as an enabling environment for the growth and development of the cryptocurrency sector.
