Hello there! Has anyone transitioned from an L4/L5 Warehouse AM role to a corporate position, such as a PM role or a similar role? I’ve been with Amazon for nearly two years and hold a business management degree, so I don’t think I qualify for any tech roles.
I’m looking into job postings, but I’m unsure how to approach the conversation with my manager. Should I apply directly or reach out to the hiring manager first? Also, what kind of salary increasedecrease can I expect? Currently, as an L5, my base salary is 70k.
I’m not in a rush to make the transition, but eventually, that’s my goal. What kind of skills or projects can I focus on to improve my chances for moving from an L4/L5 Warehouse AM role to a corporate position like a PM or similar?

35 y/o male here with recently made aware of my dx of obstructive sleep apnea. I had my first sleep study done back in 2016 and as they let me go to sleep, they told me they would be coming on to mask me up if I do have issues. Sure enough not shortly after I fell asleep they came on in and tossed a mask on. I was almost excited to hear I had sleep apnea as people I talked to that had it said once they started using the cpap, it was like night and day on how awake they felt after using it. This was not the case for me and I felt exactly the same tired wise and just continued to use the cpap each night as it was actually helping. As I am not getting any younger and started a family I started seeing a sleep doctor again just last year or so to make sure everything is okay. Another sleep study, EEG, 24 hr EEG and I mentioned I still am very tired during the day and they mentioned modafinil. I tried this and I did not notice any difference , they then switched to armodafinil which also did not seem to do anything. I just picked up Sunosi today to try that and I asked the pharmacist what the difference was between them and this new one and he just said that this was an updated version and it was “better” , but just it was newer and the others were 10+ years old. Before I started the wakefulness treatments, I was working on binge eating and am taking 70mg of generic Vyvanse. When I started taking this, it was great for attention to details at work, energy to do more things during the day, staying up later (not just eating a ton of food and then going straight to bed at 6pm). I worked on eating habits and added vitamins and meal replacement powders to help and ended up eating “normal person” portions and lost 20lbs so far. This was all going on before I went to see the newer sleep doctor and when I talked to him, that was when I realized the vyvanse could also be used for wakefulness and that it had been actually helping with both dxs and that is when I asked about other meds that could assist.
I am 35 with no heart issues, 6’5”, 255 lbs (was 278) and do not drink. I have tried adding adderall mid afternoon before and it was very beneficial for reducing the amount of food intake, staying up with the family longer, and actually doing things after I was done with work. With these wakefulness meds I have recently been trying not working, I was hoping the doc would get to the point of adding an afternoon ir adderall without me saying I got one from a friend and tried it. I was told though that this is basically the last med they would try unless they were able to do a extended sleep study after I have been off of all medication for 2+ weeks, which is not an option with family and work and life and holidays approaching. Currently taking clonazapam .75mg daily for social anxiety, 1200mg total of gabapentin daily for anxiety and for help with spinal stenosis.
After all this clustered and unorganized information, if you’re still reading, I guess I was just curious if anyone was prescribed both vyvanse and a pm adderall and how that conversion came about. I’ve seen that these new meds they are trying on me may be ‘liver heavy’ and again they have not helped at all and have even made me more hungry at days end to where I am stuffing my face again.

 | So on paper and when I actually watch it, it’s a good movie. But why isn’t it as good as the other movies? It can’t be because they leave the school because a bunch of the Monster High movies ironically don’t take place mainly in Monster High, and those are SUPER. They have new forms, but they did that in Freaky Fusions, and I loved that movie. And I love Lagoona, she’s arguably my favorite of the main cast, so a movie focused on her would be SUPER. The end climax is fun, they fight a kraken. I just can’t figure out why I don’t like this movie as much as the others. By all accounts it should be a SUPER movie but instead I just watch it and feel… eh. And the worst part is I don’t even know WHY.
