 | God this was painful. So many Zards. So many Dusknoirs. I absolutely hate Noir with a passion. That card was a mistake. Cinderace was a ton of fun to run last format and it was great this one too. Absolutely loved that deck. Flygon is so much fun. It's fast and counters a lot of meta decks. Miraidon got slaughtered, Bolt and Lost Zone have to slow down and actually play the game. Zard struggles if they do not run Dusknoir. It's nowhere nearly as boring as Stallax and easier to counter. Still trying to perfect both decks. Drago is Drago. 2024.11.28 02:50 Illustrious-Wish779 Clients show "using Mobile data warning"- Except that my phone stays on WIFI.
This started a few days ago on all of my equipment. Off and on. The app on the other clients either disconnects, or reports that my phone is using mobile data, which it's not. Nothing has changed about my phone. No updates. Usually when this happens, if I just open the Messages app on the phone, the mobile data warning goes away on the other device I'm using, which would point to a problem with the phone, yet I have no other issue with the phone which is running on WIFI with a strong signal. I restarted the phone and that didn't help. Clients can run fine for about 45 min, but then report that my phone is on Mobile Data. 3 min later that error goes away on it's own on all devices with no intervention.
I went into the phone app and wiped out the cache, which was surprisingly a couple of gigs of data but that didn't help. All of my equipment is connected to the same router on the same network. The router is about a month old and has no issues. The phone has a 5 bar WIFI signal and there's no indication that it's switching to mobile data or 5G service when this happens, but ALL of the clients seem to think so.
I've been using Google Messages for a LONG time, bouncing from one device to another, all tied to my phone and I've never had this issue. When the warning message refuses to go away, or if the clients disconnect, I just open the Messages app on the phone and they all reconnect again.
True, the router was currently upgraded, but that was a month ago. This annoying problem just started yesterday.

I see that there are some other people on there that have also had a bad experience with jag35, but I'd figure I'd share mine. I've bought from them in the past (4 cell modem packs) and had a good experience, so I tried again with 3 cell modem packs. I bought 50 packs, so 150 cells total. They were pretty cheap, but I still had to ship them. I've taken half of the packs apart so far and have found NO usable cells. Everything was discharged down to almost nothing., reading below .5 volts. If I tried charging them up, they'd discharge to about 4v immediately after being taken off the charger, then to 3.4 v under 1 amp of load during capacity testing.
I know you get a few duds when you buy used cells, but if ALL of the cells were bad, they have to know something is up, there is no way jag35 is ignorant of this. I can't be the only one that had this experience. Last time I bought from them, I had around 15% of the cells be either completely unusable, or only good for very low current applications. This is basically what I expect with used cells. But this was a whole other thing. The sale was as-is, so all I have is my rage, but definitely use battery hookup for used cells, jag35 can suck a nut.

Today i had a short day from work, so i went to the closest dealer with a Lightning, which was a Demo 2023 Lariat SR NEW still w/3k miles. Took it for a test drive and was very impressed with the drive, but i could not get the steering wheel to stay happy with me on lane centering during the test drive. It kept complaining at me to put my hands on the wheel, but i had 2 hands on the wheel and it would still complain. The only way i could get it to stop complaining was actually jiggling the wheel, but i kept cancelling the lane centering from jiggling it to hard when it complained. I am very interested if there is a way to calibrate this, because i think from my test drive it would be a great replacement for autopilot (basic) on my tesla if i decided to go for a lightning.
Before i left, i teased with the sales manager if they would sell or lease it and he immediately offered 25k off the 74k price tag. They seem pretty desperate to part with it, but unsure if i would be happy with standard range.
