Have we had any updates about confirmed sightings or where we are with the search? I feel like things have gone off in a spiral and RAD movement isn’t really directing the search anymore? I feel like I’ve been obsessing and looking at cameras (like many of you) and we don’t know if any of the “spotted” have been confirmed or if there are location or information updates. Please tell me if I’m the asshole here! I can’t figure out if I’m in the wrong or not.
My boyfriend and I were having a conversation about his parents financially supporting a family friend who was in need. He made a remark that he was frustrated that they wouldn’t offer that kind of money to him or pay to support him.
I mentioned that they had paid for several things for him. He got very upset that I was talking about his family’s money and felt like it was none of my business.
For context, we’re both in our early twenties and have been dating for about a year and a half. His parents have paid for a lot of things for him, like vacations, fancy dinners, private school growing up, tutors in school and college, and helping him pay for the occasional medical bill or unexpected expense. He is upset because they make a lot more money than he does, but they won’t help him pay for his student loans from college. He grew up upper middle class. He has a lot of loans but makes a good amount of money (90k) and can pay his loans off if he is careful with his spending.
I grew up in a family where I received very minimal financial support from my parent (single mom, low income) and he knows this about me.
To me, it feels really entitled to not count the various forms of financial support he has received when he also is in an okay position now. I can’t really understand why he’s upset with his parents for not paying more when he seems to already be privileged.
Either way, he’s quite upset with me for commenting on the situation and thinks I’m being really unfair. AITAH?

2024.11.28 03:00 iamonredddit Replaced 7.5R stock battery with 70AH 760CCA Size 48 AGM. Couldn’t use OBDEleven as it won’t detect my Veepak BLE adapter. Is there a way to get it to work with OBDeleven? Car Scanner app let me apply 3 changes without a subscription.
I have a Veepak OBD II BLE adapter that didn’t show up in OBDEleven app which made me use Car Scanner app to code the battery. It was pretty simple and I was able to change capacity to 70AH, battery type to Fleece and the SN. It didn’t let me apply manufacturer name without buying a subscription. Is there a way to get the Veepak to work with OBDEleven? I also have an MHD WiFi adapter that I used to flash my BMW ECU and TCU, anybody tried that to connect with the OBDEleven? I tried and nothing showed up in the app.
Should I buy a compatible adapter to use the OBDEleven or is the manufacturer name not important? Seems like only capacity and type should really matter.
For anyone considering this swap the AGM 48 is bigger than the stock battery, had to drill holes in the heat sleeve and use zip ties to secure the shield around the battery. The metal bracket holding the battery is at the last bolt now, was a very tight fit but managed to squeeze it in.
