I'm considering buying a tiny townhome in Woodcroft. Been digging around this sub and everyone seems to love the neighborhood, but on the triangle sub it seemed like people thought the area was best for families. Nothing against families, I just am hoping there will be some other young peeps without kids (coupled or not).
FOR CONTEXT: I'm moving to Durham for work (will be working downtown), and will be there for at least three years. I live in Nashville now, and where I am in the city is about a 10 minute drive from most of the places I go, so the location seems great. I just don't find people here very friendly, especially not where I live. Originally was going to rent, but everything is either an apartment downtown or a 1600 square foot house. Was thinking Lakewood at first since I have a friend who moved a month ago living there who loves it, but just don't see much to rent there right now.

Hi all
Im a current high school senior choosing which colleges to apply to. My school has a cap on how many schools their students can apply to, and Im stuck on which school my last slot should be. Ive heard a bit about RPI online, and it looks pretty well-renowned within the engineering field. However, in my real life, Ive never met a single person who's even heard of the school (friends, family (some of whom work in engineering), school counselor, even admissions officers at some other schools), which makes for a pretty stark contrast.
Is RPI actually just a really niche school? I know its a tech-focused school, but other somewhat similar schools like RIT or Michigan Tech College seem to be more well-known outside of the field despite not being that much different.
Furthermore, if it makes a difference, I weren't to apply to RPI, Id probably apply IU Bloomington. My main problems are the pretty high tuition cost and my parents not particularly liking the school very much, so any advice is much appreciated.

hey guys, I’m coming on here to ask this because i guess i just dont know who to ask, for some context: My boyfriend and I have been going through some rough patches recently, but I feel like they’re all small things that I cant call him out for. Things keep building up and i guess i just want some third person perspective—
So firstly, my boyfriend has been getting texts from a girl that lives in another state that he swears is just his friend. He wont show me their chats at all and is overall very secretive about it. He mentioned once that she brought up the topic about them two meeting up once she lands in our state, but he hasnt given me much else. Secondly, the same girl posted him on her public story a couple weeks ago and every time i bring it up, my boyfriend changes the subject. Third, every time he says goodnight his phone autocorrects my name to “ashley” —which is a name that I am not familiar with— none of our friends are named ashley and im not sure if any of his coworkers are named ashley either. He swears its his phone glitching but Im not too sure. Fourth, I walked in on him playing games with another girl as duos, and even thought that might seem trivial, it bothers me just because i know how much he usually values his gaming time alone. And lastly, last night I caught his location in a random field a couple miles from our place. Coincidentally, I also saw my best friend’s location at the same exact place. I confronted him about it but he said that they were in a group setting, which, Im not too sure I believe.
Anyways, thanks for listening yall. I just hope to find some answers and a third perspective:)

Ok, now, think of how Daenerys's story ended. She thought she was doing the right thing by burning King's landing to the ground so she could rule. She went power hungry and psychotic. Ok, now, think about Kendrick. Dude is here writing and crying about how desperately hip hop needs to be saved from people like Drake. Don't mix up my words, I despise drake just as vehamently as yall do, but I have a theory that in like 10 years, Kendrick will be hip hop's daenerys. Dude is so adamant that he is the savior of hip hop, even though he has said that he isn't. He believes this so strongly, that he went out of his way to shit on drake, not that he didn't deserve it. But much like Cersei Lanister, deserving everything she got, a good intention doesn't always lead to a good outcome. Hence, we got GNX. Think about it. GNX is literally everything Kendrick was bitching about in Mr. Morale in m95. He was talking about how microwave rap is trash, tictok rap is trash, but gnx is nothing but this. Are you seriously going to sit here and tell me that you sincerely think Squabble up is a good song? It's really irritating, and honestly? It's bizarre for a kendrick type of song. This is why I'm saying, we are witnessing the beginning of kendrick's daenery's arc. Have a lovely night and stay warm. It's snowing in colorado.
