Do most of you regularly make commission? We get basically minimum wage and need to bring in about $1200-1300 a week each to even start getting any commission. I've worked there 9 months and only one of us ever makes that, and it's getting so slow the past couple months that even our one elite stylist isn't making it.
Also, do your customers generally tip the 15/20 percent? I really try my absolute best and take so much time making sure it's good ..my customers all generally act like they love the work I do, but it makes me think I actually messed up when I see 0-5 bucks on 3 hour services I skipped lunch to do. Not to mention I depend on tips to help pay my bills.
I love my coworkers and my discount but I'm a new stylist and this is kind of breaking me

Generally, adult mammals do not need to rely on the opposite gender animal to survive, even if they are pack animals.
For humans, I believe research has shown that hunter gatherer women sourced more calories than men, at least in warmer climates. Women also hunted, though it seems likely that men generally hunted more big game. But how much did women depend on male provisioning? If women could obtain small game, fish and insects, how much did they need men to survive or thrive? Insects especially are highly nutritious, high in protein and so easy to catch in large amounts that even children can do it.

I have my H-1B visa stamping interview in Canada on 12/16/2024. If I get an appointment for USCIS ASC, I can visit my aging parents asap after 5 long years. Otherwise, I will not be able to see my parents until 2026, as there is no visa stamping appointments in Canada until Dec 2025.
I have an appointment for biometrics on 12/9. So I walked in today to a USCIS at Norfolk, VA but the supervisor didn't let me in stating that he didn't receive IRCC yet. I think he didn't want me to let me in so he had to say something. Isn't it?
I drove 3 hours for the walk in with the hope but the supervisor couldn't just let me in even though there was no one. I waited over there for 3 hours. I don't know how these people are so inconsiderate to accommodate a request. I am so frustrated 🥴
Is there any way that I can get my biometrics done early so I can travel?

The other day I was watching a video on YouTube and the guy mentioned that he learned that you needed to go further than he thought when wiping your butt after. I was initially like, "Well, duh," but then I wondered if I was also not going far enough and just hadn't realised. My thoughts were that you spread and wipe to clean what would be sort of the neck of a vase but did he mean that you should be going like you're scraping the last bits of peanut butter from the top of the jar?

2024.11.28 02:49 SohanNimbus Dragonkind III seems better for a melee lich than a fauchard build.
I was testing the viability of gish/melee lich in unfair solo by making two variants from scratch in Inevitable Excess, and trying out both.
- First variant was fauchard build with 1 Monk/1 Fighte 4 Dragon Disciple/ 3 Sorcerer(Dragon bloodline)/ 1 Loremaste10 Eldritch Knight. Lich powers were fear control, weapon of death, and magic devourer.
Build was 18 st14 dex/7 con/ 14 int/19 cha -> 24. I pumped cha because dragon disciple pumps up str to 22 anyway, and cha gives a big amount of AC from monk and incorporeal charm (added via toybox), and also spell DC, so it's a triple value stat.
Items were belt of physical perfection +6, amulet of deep roots, horns of naraga, weapon was bearer of sorrow fauchard with keen, weapon of death, and greater magic weapon upto +5.
My experience with this build was that it cannot hit stuff reliably on Inevitable Excess unless it uses corrupt magic to debuff enemies down.
- Build two was dragonkind III build with the key difference being 3 levels of loremaster, and those levels came from eldritch knight, so 3 Loremaste 8 EK. The eldritch knight capstone is not valuable to us anymore, since dragonkind attacks' crit range is very low, and they are all different attacks, bite, claw,wing, and tail, so improved critical for one doesn't work on another. 3 levels in loremaster to get both druid spell magic fang, greater, and divine power from cleric.
The build was exactly the same, except I took weapon focus bite instead of fauchard for shatter defenses, and I took decaying touch instead of weapon of death. The comparison between weapon of death, gives +2 AB against living, and +2d6 damage. Decaying touch gives +1d6 + mythic rank damage, and deals 1 point of strength damage per hit from natural attacks.
My experience with this build was that it performs extremely well in Inevitable Excess. For some reason I noticed that it reliably hits enemies over the fauchard build. I didn't debuff enemies with corrupt magic at all, and it was crushing them. It also gets hit less, since the armour bonus from dragonkind is more than frightful aspect. It's also funny to see -1 str pop up around 8 times (6 attacks from dragonkind, 1 from haste, 1 from hasting expanse ring).
It had some trouble against the 6-8 Inevitable Excess calamitous and distorting keketars, since the calamitous one was sneak attacking me, which I consider a bug since I had the foresight spell on me, which should make me unable to be flanked, and I wasn't flat footed, either. Otherwise, it was extremely fun.
