2024.11.28 02:31 ArnTheGreat Moonlight Issues - and controlling mapping
I got my Legion earlier today and have spent most of the time playing with controls.
I’m curious, is there a way to assign a controller profile to a specific app?
Anyone here use Moonlight and have an issue where it’s very inconsistent on if the controller gets mapped or not? Reopening the stream multiple times eventually fixes it.
The Shortcut Window says left menu and R3 make Xbox Button but that doesn’t seem to be true.
And finally - is there anyway to just make it register as if it’s an Xbox controller? It’s weird it’s set as a generic controller when really it could easily function as a Xbox one for defaults.
Also welcome any tips or todos from people - I figured out the sound right away because that was some of the worst quality I’ve ever heard out of the box haha. No clue why it shipped with that Powerful default.

2024.11.28 02:31 Sailur_Pluto I'm incredibly stupid and need help getting a plain answer
I have not purchased the game yet but I finally have enough spare money left over to purchase it so I wanted to inquire if I could play it on my only computer.
No matter what I Google I'm not getting a straight answer I'm getting a bunch of posts that are kind of more discussion pieces and they are not easy to understand. I just casually game so it's not something I'm savy on when it comes to computers.
Basically my laptop is a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 series with about 500 GB of storage space due to the solid state drive that was installed. I'm not going to lie my computer has had issues running stuff as simple as emulators in the past I don't know if this is correct but when I go to look at the performance specs it reads out: AMD A6-7310 APU with AMD Radeon R4 Graphics.
If it's really bad I don't know, I just usually play games like stardew Valley or Left 4 Dead I even recently started playing Dead Rising 2 on it. I've also played little nightmares which weirdly wouldn't play on a newer HP laptop I had but plays just fine on this one so again I'm very sorry if it makes no sense I just need a yes or no on if it will play.

Hey everyone!
I’m trying to better understand the problem space of mental health for startup founders and entrepreneurs more broadly. Would love to hear your thoughts.
I come from a psychology background, have been working in startups and VC for the last year and help my parents in our family business.
From Entrepreneurs that I have talked to, specifically in Australia, Founders and Entrepreneurs are at higher risk of mental health issues but have little to no supports in place. An Entrepreneur won’t respond in the same way to traditional mental health services since they have unique stressors compared to the general population.
Just to name a few: - they can’t clock of from a 9-5 work day, - they fail to take care of their physical health and sleep when workloads are busy, which lasts for longer periods of time in the initial stages of a business - there is more financial uncertainty - the time spent in building takes away from the support from family and friends
From my research, there is little to no support for this demographic. Accelerators, Incubators, VCs and Investors will at best refer founders to the same government support schemes that can be found online independently. Those supports generally have large weight times, are costly and/or don’t understand the unique stressors of Entrepreneurs.
With how much value Entrepreneurs provide for the world, I don’t understand why Investors are willing to invest in ideas but not the mental health of the visionaries behind them.
I have a few ideas for solutions to this problem space, but I am currently trying to map out as many pain points as possible to build the solution around.
Let me know if you have any thoughts and insights into this problem space. Specifically, I would love to hear if you are aware of services (private or government funded) that are trying to resolve this and if they have been effective from what you have seen. Why do you think there are so few solutions to this problem?
TLDR; Founders and Entrepreneurs are at greater risk of mental health issues. Investors just refer founders back to government services that anyone can find online. Those services don't factor in the unique stressors of founders. Even if they do, they are either temporary or costly or have waitlists. What do you think contributes to founders mental health issues? What solutions have you seen? Have they been effective? If not, why not? How do you think we can solve this problem?

2024.11.28 02:31 xXCrimson_ArkXx If there is another album coming, how would thematic continuity work with GNX?
Something that’s been obvious with Kendrick’s album is the through-line that exists project to project, where you get a good sense of where Kendrick is in life and all that’s happened since the release of his last album.
Now logic would dictate that if this is considered a pre-cursor to THE ALBUM, that THE ALBUM would have been largely recorded prior to all of this, but GNX released first.
I do agree that there is sort of a precursor vibe with this album and a lot of what Kendrick is saying feels like it’s building to some epiphany or something (especially the last verse of Reincarnation), but if that’s the case then how does it make sense for the follow up to be that of GNX was written, recorded and released after that project was (assuming) largely done.
Only rationale I can come up with is that he was juggling both simultaneously over the last few months, and that GNX (the latter that was a spontaneous project) informed the former and led to some fairly extensive revisions so that GNX wouldn’t feel like some anomaly in his discography.
I mean, this is clearly being promoted as his 6th album, the follow up to his last album, not some little side thing, like compilation a la UU.
