I tried modding my 3ds XL today, but when it got to the stage of adding MSET9 onto the device, it didn’t work. I tried reformatting the SD card, troubleshooting, and redoing all of the steps multiple times, but no matter what, it would give me a never-ending loading screen. But, when I tried the same thing on my 2DS, it worked the first time. Should I get a new SD card and try it again on my 3DS? Or could there be some other problem?

Sometimes it happens that I create something without listening to a particular song and later discover that it has already been made by some other artist. Especially for me this has happened with John a few times. Recently it happened again I was working on a song in the Key of D, and i came up with an idea to use 4th as minor (quite common) specifically Gm/Bb to Ebmaj7 to D. Today I discovered john uses this same chord progression in gravity. And guess what my song is also in 6/8. Now I've heard gravity many times but I am not good with ears, so I was watching a tutorial for it and saw this. I don't listen to English music much, only john, Rhcp, coldplay, the Beatles are the one I listen to. So is this chord progression common ? Do other artists use it ? I am scared that if I use this in my song people will think I stole it when I didn't even know that john used this.

TLDR: should I let him talk to me again Friday? How can I utilize no-contact here to get him back and/or minimize my pain?
I (27F) have been with my boyfriend (38M) for over 4 years. We have been having issues with communication. Saw a couples therapist for most of this year. This Saturday we got into an argument that we have had before, about a woman in his friend group who makes me uncomfortable and has explicitly avoided me on purpose (I don’t know if I think he has actually been unfaithful, but my problem is that he is so uncaring about the pain it has caused me and defends her more than me). Sunday he broke up with me over the phone. Monday he did it again in a virtual session with our counselor. Monday night he did it again in a FaceTime call.
I have been EXTREMELY emotional (of course). These three break up talks have consisted of me sobbing and begging (embarrassing), and him tearing up but seemingly sure of his decision. Clearly he has been thinking about this for a while. Just the past month we talked about moving in together and marriage and rings..,I still want him back. But I’m approaching acceptance I guess. But still.
He wanted to talk yesterday. I ghosted him because it didn’t feel helpful. I texted today that he could check in on Friday. I don’t want to be a blubbering begging mess. Is there any point in even talking again? I want to be no contact, and deep down I know I want that so hopefully he will realize he misses me and him change his mind…. But I know that may not be possible. I don’t know what to do. Should I talk to him Friday and let him dump me for a fourth time? Should I just not respond anymore?

I’m only 19 years old but for the last year, every night as I try to sleep I just envision my own death. I cannot shake the feeling of impending doom. Like I cannot live in the now because I know that I’m just going to die eventually anyways. It’s the fear that there’s either nothing afterwards or simply enough, there is.
I consider myself a Christian. I feel like I believe in god. I feel like I believe in an afterlife. I feel like if I did not believe in god, I would not make time to pray to him every day and I would not feel guilty committing sins I know only he will ever know about. But I am still so afraid of death.
I’m afraid of there being nothing afterwards, and I’m also afraid of there being something afterwards. I think in the latter case, I’m just struggling to grasp the concept of eternity. But what really scares me is that there is nothing. It’s not like I’ll know or be aware, but that also scares me. I don’t want to lose my consciousness or my humanity ever. I don’t want to think that my time in existing is so short and so full of pain and regrets and that’s just all there is to it. There has to be more. But nevertheless, I can’t shake the fear that death is going to come up on me fast and I won’t ever be able to live my life because I’m living in constant fear of dying.
So here’s a few questions for those of you who got this far. What makes you really truly believe in god and the afterlife? Even with your faith in god, do you still fear dying? Is it normal for someone as young as me to think about this consistently, unable to shake it or push it to the back of my mind? Is there anything I can do or think about so that the concept of death isn’t so scary to me?

Scenario we are building a custom home on our own land with a construction loan and our bank told the builder said we should be able to put down a deposit on the cabinets and when they are delivered on-site then they would cut a check made out to Lowe’s to pay them off. This is supposed to be to protect the bank, the builder and us. It seems my local Lowe’s doesn’t really know the answer when I asked. The order will be around $30k

2024.11.28 04:30 Sensitive_Strain7245 Did anyone’s brain tumor come on suddenly with absolute no warning signs?
30M I never suffered with headaches or any migraine like symptom in my life. One day randomly headaches started and went on for a month and progressively got worse, vertigo, etc.. went to the er and they did a CT scan which showed my tumor.. doc said it was 40mm and needed to be taken immediately, had surgery last week and I’m still in shock how fast this all happened. I was a relatively healthy and fit dude and out of no where one headache turned into a brain tumor. I am absolutely terrified that this is going to come back with no warning signs again. Thankfully it was benign but I am still a nervous wreck. I can’t stop thinking about it. I’m going to be doing a follow up mri in a few months, just curious if anyone has any similar story.
