My husband sprung on me last week that we would host his family for thanksgiving. I've pleaded with him for an entire year to go low contact with them, but he has ignored me.
His brother gets drunk and causes a scene at almost every event. Last year, he keyed every car in the driveway on his way out the door. My MIL belittles me in front of everyone and they laugh. I've had it.
The idea came to me this morning and honestly all my anger and rage disappeared. I'm going to put just a small amount of shit inside the turkey tomorrow before it cooks. I don't want it to be large enough for people to taste it or get sick. Just enough to lightly waft through the oven, like a bay leaf.
That is all.

Every now and then, you see posts about "look at this crazy prospect" with stuff like a Scrambler QB with 95 Throw Power, 95 Speed, Platinum Field General Mental ability, Elite Dev, and like 2 total skill caps. Or crazy fast Power Backs. Etc. How often do those kinds of prospects get generated?
Obviously a prospect wouldn't be "generational" if one came along every year, and I can't scout every 4-5 star recruit each year, but I'm curious how frequently I should even expect to maybe be able to find one.

2024.11.28 02:32 Mag1cat New PowerColor Spectral Hellhound 7900 xt stuttering and freezing when bios switched to OC mode.
So i just swapped out my 3060 ti with a brand new PowerColor Spectral White Hellhound 7900 xt. Games are basically unplayable when the bios switch is set to OC mode. Constant stutters and freezing with massive FPS drops and power consumption drops / utilization drops. Card also has EXTREME coil whine when gaming on this mode.
However when switching the card to the silent bios mode. The card runs and performs almost perfectly. A few very minor little stutters which could be game/server related and seem normal. The coil whine is also MUCH better and hardly noticeable.
I have tried disabling EVERY setting in AMD software. I did a clean driver install etc with DDU. I am using 2 separate 8 pin power cables. The problem is only noticeable when gaming. Otherwise completely stable.
CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X
PSU: SeaSonic Focus Gold 850w
MOBO: Asus TUF x570
Windows 11
Should i just get a refund from amazon and return it? Or is there something i can do to fix this.

Eu tinha um grupo de amigos na escola, éramos 3 meninos e uma menina, eu n era muito próximo de um dos meninos, pra falar a verdade éramos basicamente opostos( vamos chamalo de K), o outro garoto era alguém que conhecido um ano antes do grupo se formar( ele sera o M), e tinha a garota, ela basicamente era o elo que uinia o grupo a (J).
O grupo continuou assim por um ano, até passarmos para o 3° ano do ensino médio, quando o M ir para um turno diferente, e o K ficou um uma turma diferente, e tirando os intervalos que o K vinha para nossa sala éramos só eu e a J. Antes desse ano eu e ela não éramos lá tão próximos, já que o K estava sempre colado nela( ele era abertamente apaixonado nela), mas durante esse ano, nos ficamos mais próximos já que estávamos sempre conversando.
Não me levem a mal, não estava apaixonado por ela nem nada assim, ela era como uma irmã para mim, por sinal um dos principais tópicos era o relacionamento dela com K(pra falar a verdade até hoje não sei se eles namoravam).
Mas em fim, as aulas acabaram, nos formamos e a vida seguil normalmente, K assim que nos formamos mandou uma mensagem mo grupo dizendo algo do tipo "não preciso mais esta aqui" e saiu do grupo, não me importe com isso, mas conforme o tempo passava J começou a ficar mais inativa no grupo, isso era normal afinal todos tinha suas vidas. Mas chegou um momento que ela parou de responder, nem WhatsApp, nem Instagram. Ela só sumiu. Eu comecei a fazer teorias em minha mente do porquê, e de vez em quando me pego pensando no que aconteceu.
E eu vi um vídeo que fazia a pergunta "se vc pudesse encontrar todos as pessoas que conheceu em sua vida em uma sala, quem vc procuraria" e ela me veio a mente.
Talvez alguns de vc falem que eu estava apaixonado, mas eu acho que não, e se foi mesmo isso, que merda, minha primeira paixão sumiu sem que eu nem percebesse o que senti.
Bem era só isso mesmo só queria desabafar mesmo, obrigado por ler e me ouvir

I am a new filmmaker making a short. One potential gaffer sent me the last short he lit. All I see is bad acting, sound where the gain is too high and a story that leaves me apathetic. How can I tell from a mediocre film whether it’s lit well?
Is lighting dependant on the quality of the light? Or how it’s shaped?

 | Can anyone help me identify this mold? It’s been in here for over a month and has been sowing spreading over time. So far it’s stayed in a small area of this 40 gallon. On about two or three of these valicineria plants. Sorry if I spelled that wrong… So far the fish shrimp snails and plecos all seem healthy so I haven’t done anything to change it. The tank cycled for over a month before I put fish in it. I recently checked the parameters. Low nitrates and nitrites No ammonia No chlorine Hard water (I live in south Texas) High ph (7-8 PH.) The guppies have been breeding a lot and the platys look like they are going to have babies soon. I also know a couple shrimp are pregnant. The plants are doing very well too. Hello. I got “gifted” a used 220J with 2x8TB drives. There are 8 iPhones in my home. My use case is only going to be to backup iphone pictures on it.
Going through posts. I have only come across negative comments about the 220J’s performance.
I dont have any media besides phone pictures. Will the 220J be sufficient to take phone backups weekly from multiple iPhones. I have Google nest mesh wifi pucks at home.
