Fazia tempo que eu não encarava um grind como esse! Foi uma mistura de diversão e raiva, mas no geral o multiplayer acabou sendo bem cansativo. O SBMM desse jogo prejudica tanto a diversão quanto o grind. Decidi focar logo na Dark Matter porque sabia que seria trabalhoso, mas no Zombies a experiência é bem mais tranquila – dá pra curtir uma música ou ouvir um podcast enquanto vai progredindo aos poucos.
Desejo boa sorte a todos que estão na mesma jornada e que, assim como eu, continuarão grindando ao longo do ano. Vou dar uma pausa pra descansar, mas sexta-feira volto com tudo pra alcançar o nível 1000. Obrigado, 3arc! 2024.11.28 02:36 xiipaoc My lard smells terrible when I cook it; is this normal?
I bought some lard to cook with, a brick of Morrell Snow Cap Lard from the regular supermarket. So I decided to sauté something with it. I put it in the pan and turned the heat on, and soon it started melting and coating the pan, as I would normally expect a cooking fat to do. But soon it became... fragrant. Not good fragrant, like bacon, which is what I was kind of expecting. It had this absolutely disgusting farmyard smell, so bad that I had to immediately turn off the heat and clean the pan to make sure the house didn't smell like that. I cook with Wagyu tallow from Fatworks, and that smells just fine -- very beefy, but no off smells; it gives a very nice beefy aroma to the food. This lard, on the other hand, smells absolutely terrible, unlike actual pork meat.
So, my question: is this normal for lard? Do I have a bad brick, and another brick of the same brand would be better? Am I just using a crappy brand? If I were to use a higher-end product, like a leaf lard, would I get a pleasant smell (I'm not deep-frying, so I have no problem paying a bit more for a higher-end product that I'll use for months)? Was my pan just too hot? What's going on here?

So the title is pretty self explanatory, my roommate got a big bouquet of Lilies from her boyfriend, I don't know how long the lilies were in the apartment before I noticed them, probably a few hours.
They were on the kitchen table out in the open, my cats been out there all day. I put the flowers in my roommate's room. She doesn't want to throw them out. She says she'll keep them in her room but i told her that the pollen will stick to her clothes/haihands and that she'll be walking everywhere in the apartment, doing stuff and spreading the pollen around. I told her a few grains of pollen can kill my cat. She said "okayy..... Well I don't really wanna throw them out..."
I vacuumed the whole apartment, disinfected the table they were on, locked my cat in my room, l'm gonna wash her face and fur... I don't know what to do and I'm honestly freaking tf out, someone please help 😭

Hey! Wie im Titel schon geschrieben habe ich eine Frage wie die Abrechnung von Steuern bzgl Werbungskosten eines Masterstudiums und Einkünften/Kapitalerträgen stattfindet.
Ich bin erst vor kurzem diesem Subreddit beigetreten, aber dachte meine Frage passt hier gut rein, da ich meine Einnahmen (in Form von Steuerreduktion) optimieren möchte. Wahrscheinlich nicht so extrem wie manch andere Leute hier in den letzten Tagen, aber ich denke das Prinzip ist hier sehr angebracht :D
Zu meiner Überlegung:
Ich hatte dieses Jahr Ausgaben in Höhe von 8000€ für ein Auslandssemester im Master. Diese Kosten kann ich als Werbungskosten in der Steuererklärung angeben. => -8000€
Zudem hatte ich durch einen Ferienjob in Deutschland Einnahmen in Höhe von 2000€ sowie vrstl durch einen Hiwi Job 450€ im Dezember. => 2450€
Nun dachte ich mir um den Grundfreibetrag diesen Jahres bestmöglich auszunutzen, meine Aktien/ETFs (>51% Aktienanteile) teilweise zu verkaufen und wieder einzukaufen um Gewinne jetzt steuerfrei zu realisieren und für zukünftige Gewinne eine höhere Kaufposition zu haben. Der Einfachheit halber, vernächlässige ich Kauf/Verkaufskosten und ausbezahlte Dividenden.
Der diesjährige Grundfreibetrag beträgt 11784€. Dazu kommt der Freibetrag von 1000€. => 12.784€ steuerfreies Einkommen/Erträge möglich. Wenn ich diesen Betrag nur mit Aktienverkäufen realisieren will, folgt durch die Teilfreistellung von 30%: 12.784 / (1 - 0.3) =18.262 € steuerfreie Gewinne realisierbar.
Nun zu meinem Halbwissen / meinen Fragen:
Verluste in Form von Werbungskosten werden nur mit Einnahmen aus nicht-selbständigen Einnahmen verechnet. Das beudetet sie haben keinen direkten Einfluss auf Kapitalerträge. Kapitalerträge können nur mit Verlusten aus Aktienverkäufen verechnet werden.
Meine Überlegungen für die Steuerberechnung wären dann zusammengefasst:
2024: 8000€ Werbungskosten & 2450€ Gehalt
2450 - 8000 = 5650 € Verlustvortrag für das Jahr 2025 Sowie für 2024 keine Steuerzahlung nötig für die 2450€ Gehalt bzw erstattungsfähig mit einer Steuererklärung. Somit haben meine Einnahmen keine Auswirkungen für den Grundfreibetrag (oder doch?). Der Grundfreibetrag 11784 + 1000 bleibt dann vollständig nutzbar für den Verkauf von Aktien im Wert von 18.626€ Gewinnen. Für diese zahle ich anteilig Kapitalsteuern dieses Jahr, sie sind aber auch erstattungsfähig mit einer Steuererklärung im nächsten Jahr.
Habe ich das richtig verstanden? Ich hoffe ich konnte meine Gedanken nachvollziehbar darlegen . Bei Fragen gerne melden und ich würde mich über jede Rückmeldung/Verbesserung freuen!
