There have been some background sounds I REALLY have wished I knew the origin of because I'd like to watch the movie/TV show according to the limited sound I have from it. I tried doing a google search, for example, with a specific example, and all I found was more tiktoks with that sound, not any explanations of where its from. It clearly sounded like movie/tv dialog with a song playing as part of the movie/tv soundtrack so I doubt its just some thing some influencer made for tiktok.

Hi, this is a quick question! But basically I’m a Japanese dual citizen renewing my passport (I live in Japan periodically, but never worked/rented etc), but my Japanese name is REIKO with respective Kanji and Hiragana but my American name is spelled Raeko. My old passport has my name romanized as Raeko, and when getting my new passport I would either have to keep that English spelling or have to spend time processing for a name change request (when I called the embassy they said that since all my history is in that name they don’t recommend it and it would take some time to process) so it’s Hepburn. How annoying/troublesome would it be living day to day life in Japan with my passport name spelled Raeko? Do you guys recommend I correct it or keep it? Because I know sometimes when on flights they might think it’s two different people, but I also don’t want to have to keep correcting people that it’s just Reiko not Ra-eh-ko. Thank you!

Friends, looking for opinions and recommendations: I’m looking build a .22LR-based target rifle for plinking at the local range. No competitions, no hunting, very little carrying. I’m relatively new to the rifle scene and don’t have the time to go down a modification rabbit hole, so I’m trusting in y’all.
Range: max is 100 yds.
Action: bolt. I’ve got a couple Ruger 10/22s and looking for a slower, more focused bolt action experience.
Budget: $1500 w/optics
Priority: Feel and operation of the bolt, trigger, and other touch points. I don’t want it to feel like a toy, or cheap.
Preference: classic look and feel vs. modern tactical nonsense.
I’ve heard good things about the Bergara B14, CZ457, but have no experience with either. And I know of Anschutz by name and reputation but have never seen one in person.
So, please, spend my money. $100 to a 2A-friendly non-profit once recommendations are in and gun is built, and my gratitude.
