I got into a really awkward situation a while back where a co-worker basically asked me if I wanted to get married with zero warning - we had rarely spoken before that (we're from a culture where arranged marriages/marriages where the couple don't know each other beforehand are common). I panicked and ended up telling them I was homosexual because that's what I thought at the time. I was also not able to express that this was not appropriate because of how sudden this confession was and figured this was the quickest way to get them to leave me alone. Now I am starting to develop feelings for someone else and would end up in a heterosexual relationship if it works out. I feel guilty for having "lied" to this co-worker and am afraid that they will think I was being manipulative when I said I wasn't interested. Any advice? I am so confused.

I saw someone post about having a disability allowance in Ireland because of autism/adhd and the people in the comments shamed and attacked them a lot, saying they don’t deserve it and I felt extremely bad because I’m receiving a disability allowance because I have complex ptsd , ocd and adhd. I’ve had severe mental problems for years and years and endless traumatic experiences to the point where I feel disabled, I can’t work I can’t finish my education and I can’t leave me house… i literally get forced to eat and do normal stuff everyone does so easily. My brain is paralysing me and it feels like I’m mentally disabled.I feel like a bad person because it’s not a physical disability I I’m receiving money off of the government.. I just feel like a coward.

I've ordered from Streamily before and got my first print signed and thought that it was all good. I then proceeded to order another three. All equating to 310.32 dollars. It was planned to arrive in June, and when the arrival date passed a month, I decided to email Steamily. They then told me to email APC, which I did. They told me my package was lost. I then emailed Streamily about this and contacted APC again for all three orders ( this emailing back and forth has spanned between July to now, and it is still going on ). I have said multiple times I want a refund, but they aren't helping at all, saying my package isn't lost since APC said in a new email that I sent to Streamily,
'The package was reported as returned to the sender by your local carrier.
Unfortunately, at this stage of the return process, we are unable to amend the shipment or request that it be re-routed for re-delivery or collection.
If you need any more help, contact the seller. Below, I’ve included the APC tracking link to locate additional tracking information.'
But just a month before, they sent emails saying it was lost. I want a refund, and Streamily is doing nothing but being unhelpful, saying they aren't the seller, that APC is the seller, and then APC is telling me Streamily is the seller.
I think it's a good idea to buy from here. Because if THREE separate orders can not be delivered, then the company is unreliable. Not to mention, they are NO help at all.
Three hundred dollars may not be a lot to them, but to me, IT IS A LOT. I am only 23 and working minimum wage, so I saved up to be able to buy my friends birthday presents from their favourite VAs.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always loved to live alone. I’ve lived alone for 3 1/2 years. 4 months ago my boyfriend moved in and we’ve started to build a little life together and I really started to feel secure and safe having him around. Anyway he applied to be on my lease even though I pay the rent right now and he pays for the groceries and other things, and his credit got denied and now my building is forcing him to leave. So now I’m back to being alone, I wouldn’t have an issue with this if I wouldn’t have gotten so used to being with him 24/7 besides when I go to work (he worked from home so anytime I was home he was too)… I feel so lonely. I don’t know what to do with myself now, I don’t even know how I lived alone before. Im worried I’m gonna go from sleeping comfortably knowing he’s next to me, now my mind is racing so much I don’t think I’m gonna get any sleep tonight. Happy thanksgiving guys, I’m thankful today for my apartment management for ripping my life apart because of a little bit of debt on a credit report. Cheers to being lonely.

Why does everyone harp on about confidence.
To me that's pretty much like saying. Be 200 IQ then you'll get girls
I feel like real confidence is only applicable to VERY intelligent people who actually have some slight grip on what's the fuck is going on in the world/ how things work.
But for a dumb fuck like me - and probably even most averagely intelligent people - the closest thing to confidence I can replicate is dogmatic ignorance / delusion / thinking I know something I don't really understand.
People are always like "act with conviction and be confident"
How the fuck can I act with conviction,with no understanding of what the fuck is actually going on.
If I did that I'd just make a mess or spread complete bullshit. Which I sometimes do.
Ive always been fucking clueless, Do I just accept I will never be confident.
Think I'm fucked on the dating front too given how much people's stress the importance of being confident.
