So my sister has a situation going on where she rented a small container on a private farm, he's owes about 300 pounds on it but he farm owners have changed the goalposts.
She was paying them cash each month at their request no contract deposits or her details were ever took just her phone number but now they told her they're selling the container and the costs are nearly Ā£1k.
They've told her they've changed the lock on the container until their bill is paid, I've told her that's not right there's no binding contract in place and the fact they've had cash and not bacs suggests it's an off the books operation.
At this point I'm willing to go up and cut the lock off and remove the contents for her but legally where does she stand, obviously she's reached out to be amicable but it's not working can she remove the lock and just get out of there?

2024.11.28 04:50 asciishallreceive Question about how to resolve Elenda, the Dusk Rose + Valkyrie's Call + Saw in Half
I'm hoping someone can help me sort through what happens when you use Saw in Half on Elenda, the Dusk Rose when Valkyrie's Call is out.
Without Valkyrie's Call you make 2 copies of Elenda -- say she's power 8; you make 2 copies that are 4/4, and 8x 1/1 vampires from elenda's death trigger. Then one of the copies dies to the legend rule and you make 4 more vampires and the remaining copy gets a +1/+1 for the death trigger.
My trouble is when Valkyrie's Call will bring back the original Elenda.
If she comes back alongside the copies, then they both die without one of them first getting a +1/+1. If you can delay her return from valkyrie's call to after Saw in Half has finished making its copies and dying to the legend rule, then she would get to kill a second, larger copy when she returns; creating an additional vampire.
I suppose it's unclear to me as the wording on Saw in Half is not like killing the creature is a cost that would necessarily happen first, and it's all one paragraph so I'm unsure if it's all hitting the stack at the same time and you can organize it how you want or if some things have to resolve before more of the triggers go on the stack.

2024.11.28 04:50 Durkinator27 Ran out of cat steroids (low dose, short term)... can it wait until after Thanksgiving?
My cat Champion just started being treated for what we think is a a minor case of IBS, and was predniSOLONE 0.1ml, 2x a day. He was supposed to be on it for 2 weeks, then taper it down after that. However, the vet clearly didn't give me nearly enough, because on dose 2 for day 8, I realized it was basically gone. (I'm kicking myself for not getting pills, which would've been obvious when it was low... it really seemed like there was more liquid in the bottle!)
Of course, this happened tonight, the night before Thanksgiving, and my vet will be closed until Monday. I already checked with Urgent Care places nearby and they said they'll need me to bring Champ in for an examination to prescribe more. I'm willing to bite the bullet and drop the bucks for it if I have to, but I hate having to traumatize Champ unnecessarily by bringing him in (on Thanksgiving).
Anyway, my question is: I know stopping steroids is always treated as a big no-no, but is that more a case with larger doses and longer term? If he's only been on it for 8 days with a total of 0.2 ml a day, am I overreacting by taking him to an urgent care place or could I wait until Monday?

First steps done on Model Expo starter model Grand Banks Dory. Seems like a great intro and I feel like I am getting some good expirience. I am not sure if my fine detail skills will allow me to get me in to something more robust, but either way I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Me and my boyfriend started dating on 11/11/24. At first, everything was perfect. We were in love. We talked, and I imagined everything with him. I thought of a future with him, cuddling him, kissing him. I told all my friends about us, talked about him nonstop. It annoyed people, but that didnāt stop me. I love him, and he was all that mattered at the time. Then we started growing apart. At first, we would act like normal. We never acted like a real couple in public (school). Only being together online. I was fine with this, I was willing to do only what he was comfortable with. But eventually, it became annoying. We barely talk. Not even online anymore. A mutual friend of ours had brought to my attention how potentially toxic our relationship is. At first, I made excuses for him. But recently, Iāve been feeling less and less in love with him. Loving thoughts of him have been replaced with thoughts of a fictional crush of mine.
Him and a friend of ours (different from the one that I previously mentioned) did recently get into a fight. I agreed with blowing off the friend, but I havenāt. There are a few reasons for this. I do think heās a bad friend, but I donāt know how to leave him without damaging the rest of my friend group (I have a lot of friends I donāt want to lose if I drop him as a friend).
He has said before that he doesnāt want people to know from other people. So us telling a popular person would easily have the entire school knowing in moments. So I agreed. But I also donāt think us not telling everyone weāre dating doesnāt mean we shouldnāt talk. We hardly talk in class together like we used to. To be fair, we started dating the week before schedule changes, but in our new schedule, we sit right next to each other in math. We donāt talk as much in math, and now, not even a lot online.
Recently, Thanksgiving break has come up, but me and him have barely talked. I could just be being clingy and overbearing, but I am also a little aggravated with how little heās talked to me. Like today, I texted him the usual: Good morning, I love you. He responded, everything was fine. But then we talked for two seconds when he said he was busy so I let him do his thing (he was decorating his sketchbook). That entire day, I was online (Iām on my computer, so I can have the app open and be off the tab and itāll still mark me as online), and he did not talk to me. Later in the day, I asked him what he was doing, trying to start a conversation with him, and he talked to me for a few texts before saying he had to brush his teeth (he recently got braces). But since then, we have not talked all day (and itās late now, he didnāt text me once).
So Iām here, confused and feeling guilty. I think I might want to end things with him, but I also donāt. The thought of losing him kind of scares me. Heās cute, and nice. Honestly a great friend. But I donāt know if I should break up with him, or even how. Especially not without wrecking a few other friendships along the way. So, I ask: Would I Be the Asshole for breaking up with my boyfriend? What should I do, because Iām genuinely confused.

Also, please tell me: I'm a little confused about the offensive gear sets. I can't decide between crit chance, crit damage or penetration for most heroes. As I understand it, the penetration set is quite difficult to collect and you can only reroll stats to at least ever get the right ones. Or is this set worth it? And what about the other sets?

I just started working at a restaurant and I canāt believe how fast everyone works. There gets points in the dinner rush where everyone is sprinting everywhere and yet the team is expected to execute.
Iām the type of person to get stressed very easy and am not really someone who typically āmoves fastā I like to take my time and work at my own pace. Does this skill come over time or are restaurant workers just built different?
