So like... picture you're laying in bed with your partner. She wants sex, you're not feeling it and say no. She accepts that and goes for cuddles instead, likely followed by sleep. No pushing, no guilting, no groping, no complaining... just full acceptance and resuming with affection and love.

It feels so... romantic to me. That even if she doesn't get what she wants, she'll still wanna cuddle and be close to me and won't hold a grudge or get pushy. It's just... mature and sweet and thoughtful and affectionate and it makes me smile and wiggle in place a lil bc it feels romantic and sweet and like she actually likes me.
I love this idea. I've never had a partner like that and I hope a girl would treat me this way, while also still being attracted to me.

My wife just told me to sacrifice the body and mind. I started a new job this year. I took over a failing business. I have potential to get a large bonus (like 50% of my annual salary) based on a 3 KPIs. Two of them (profit and customer retention) I have blown up, like 500% over expectations. The revenue goal has always been on a knives edge. Part of the problem was the staff. Iāve had to fire 5 people this year for things that you just canāt allow (drugs at work, no call no show, that sort of stuff). Iāve had another 3 quit (not related to operational changes, just normal turnover). Unfortunately I had to fire one and had two of them quit in October. During that time I picked up a significant amount of work from the three departures. Iāve been working at least 11 hour days since mid-October. The company I work for has their head in the sand about wages. Iāve fought and gotten my entire team 20% raises this year but the company wonāt budge on the hiring wage, which is below the standard and enough so that there is no way to entice people (all the while saying we want to be an employer of choice). So Iāve had open positions for months. Iām exhausted. I pretty much just work and sleep and go to the gym. No time for fun. I tell my wife how exhausted I am. I tell her Iām feeling depressed. I tell her that there is nothing in my life Iām looking forward to, that each day I canāt wait for it to be over. I say that I wouldnāt care if I were to get hit by a car. You know..basically saying Iām not ok. I then say āI can see Iām not very likely to earn my bonusā. I just donāt have the people to get the work done, even with what Iām doing. And she says āwell..I donāt mind if you donāt take any time off and keep working all day Saturdays if it means you make your bonusā Iām just likeā¦I just told you the space Iām in mentally and all you care about is the money? (For context I make a good salary, so the bonus would be awesome but Iām saving money every month on the salary alone). The thing is if it were that close, Iād do it. But what I see in the finances and projections is that I could do all that and still be about 1 workers worth of output short of making my goal. I canāt really put more in myself. So Iām explaining that and sheās still like ābut why not try?ā Iām in a salaried role. I donāt make OT and if I donāt hit the KPI I donāt get shit other than a Pat on the back. Soā¦like 65 or so hours a week, no life AND no bonus? Nah. Iām not even saying Iām not going to try, but I am saying that I canāt put more in and I need to two days I took off (ones my birthday) to recover.
Man Iām pissed.

Iāve been experiencing being made fun of for the past 2 months because I tend to stutter or my way of speaking changes whenever I need to recite in class or do simple public speaking. I almost transferred to a different block, but I realized it would just make them feel good since I would be transferring out. What I want to do with right now is file a case with the administration, if thatās possible. What consequences would they face if I do?
Itās really disappointing that this is still happening, especially at UST. Iāve never experienced anything like this in my previous schools, and Iāve studied in some of the best schools around Metro Manila. Also, almost all of my blockmates ay nakikisali na rin. Typical hs vibes na kung sino mapagtripan pagtutulungan lol.
