I bought a travel adapter because I am going abroad on a trip and it has this warning:
"Do not use your phone, make calls, or perform other operations while charging"
I was going to get a usb c cable for my iphone the other day and it said the same thing.
But for other cables/adapters/chargers I bought they didn't have any warning of that kind.
Why is that?

2024.11.28 05:35 Junior-Flower-9650 Boyfriend got mad at me for telling him I felt objectified by what he was saying.

my boyfriend (40M) and I (32F) have been together a couple months and things have been going really well. our personalities mesh really great and we have lots of fun together. tonight we had our first real ‘disagreement’ i guess you could call it.
we had some drinks tonight and we were talking about my mom and when he meets her, and he started saying things like ‘do you get your big tits from your mom?’ and ‘what about your ass, big as yours?’ although he was joking, it rubbed me the wrong way and i told him i felt like i was being objectified. i definitely could’ve used better choice of words, but it was just how i was feeling in the moment.
he immediately shut down and became really quiet and cold. i sensed the shift and let it go for a bit before i addressed it. i asked him what was wrong and he kept telling me everything was fine, but i knew he wasn’t. i told him i know he doesn’t see me as an object, but in the moment i felt like that and it just didn’t feel good to me. i also told him it didn’t feel fair that men can casually talk about women that way, but i wouldn’t ever care or think to ask which parent a guy gets his body parts from.
he said he was joking and that i took it too seriously and that i needed to let it go. he continued to act quiet and distant so i sat on his lap and tried to reassure him that i wasn’t mad, i just wanted him to know how i was feeling in the moment. he said he was pulling back and i said okay that’s fine, but don’t tell me everything is fine if you are clearly pulling back and not being honest about it.
he had completely shut down about it so i tried to change the convo and started talking about shows and he asked if i’d seen a certain show and i said no and he said “if you’re not thick skinned and easily offended i wouldn’t watch it.” which was clearly a dig towards me because of what i said.
he did have waaay too much to drink tonight and i’m sure that contributed a lot to everything, but we agreed a couple weeks ago we would be upfront and honest with each other if something was wrong and i felt like he just straight shut down. am i wrong for telling him i how i felt? i thought we could’ve had an open and honest conversation about it, but he really completely shut down from me for the rest of the night. now i’m in bed feeling really weird about the whole thing.

So I've been having this issue since I've gotten my new contract with Telus of May of this year, why am I spending near a 100 bucks a month for my device and plan when I'm getting heavily throttled on my 100 GB plan on 5G/5G+ connection, but when I force my phone into LTE, its faster and more stable? At first I thought my Samsung S24+ was faulty or something, acting really slow. I've had a S22 Ultra prior to this phone and had no issues like this before and it was 5G compatible and never had a throttling issue like this, I've done some research and seems like other 5G+ compatible phones are having issues similar This is extremely frustrating and I've been a Koodo/Telus customer for nearly 10 years and this is what I get? Not sure what I can do, can't switch to a different provider because I'm locked into this contract until I can buy it out or wait until 2026. Does anyone recommend anything aside from just leaving the phone on LTE for the time being?

Master league Debating on keeping or purifying this. I wanted a good palkia origin with spacial rend to use as my third mon for master league (xerneas hundo and dusk mane 15/13/15 already both maxed. The shadow even with these IVs seem to beat the biggest problems of my first two. Is it worth maxing with these IVs or should I purify for the hundo? Key win flips with the shadow are ho oh, dusk mane necro and gira alt but the win flips for the hundo is dragonite, mamoswine, mewtwo, dawn wings and both palkia forms. Overall the hundo wins more matchups but the ones the shadow win are important to my other mons and are more meta relivant mons

Currently with Koodo, have byo iPhone 15. Don’t need a new phone, but I do need good coverage. I live near whyte but work in Sherwood park and have dead spots everywhere. Was on the phone to 811 last week and lost signal while outside the hospital 🤣
Besides the shitty signal, Koodo recently increased my bill for no reason. I still only pay $39 which isn’t much but when I can’t use that for 40 hours of my week, it gets a little annoying.
Currently have 50gb (which is too much data) and unlimited Canada minutes and texts. What can I get for the same price with better coverage? I know Black Friday deals are upon us so what are your experiences?
