I’ve gone through past Reddit posts, but they mostly discuss freelancing from the perspective of income. My main concern is whether freelancing in data science is practical for someone like me, given its unique challenges.
A bit about my background: I’ve completed 3-4 real-world data science projects, not on toy datasets, but actual data (involving data scraping, cleaning, visualization, modeling, deployment, and documentation). I’ve also worked as an intern in the NLP domain.
Some issues I’ve been thinking about:
- Domain Knowledge and Context: How hard is it to deliver results without deep understanding of a client’s business?
- Resource Limitations: Do freelancers struggle with accessing data, computing power, or other tools required for advanced projects?
- Collaboration Needs: Data science often requires working with teams. Can freelancers integrate effectively with cross-functional groups?
- Iterative and Long-Term Nature: Many projects require ongoing updates and monitoring. Is this feasible for freelancers?
- Trust and Accountability: How do freelancers convince clients to trust them with sensitive or business-critical work?
- Client Expectations: Do clients expect too much for too little, especially at low wages?

But our very best chance is to have all these egos around him with competing interests start eating one another. What is the best way to do that? Well, as an adult child of a narcissist I can tell you nothing works better than ignoring them. I'm not saying we let everything go and pretend it's fine. But if we could start a movement where everyone just didn't post about him or Leon for a few days to a week - just radio silence. Don't feed the trolls, don't do anything but ignore, and they will go absolutely nuts. You will see it. Elonia will do something that's too much, finally, or they will get so outrageous that others have to step up and curb it. We're already seeing some backlash from businesses and big oil about the tariffs. Now tfg is lying about a meeting with Mexico where Sheinbaum supposedly capitulated and agreed to close the border and stop all the drug dealers from coming in because he wants a way to walk back the ridiculous and absolutely not sustainable 25% tariff while saving face with the cult. We need an agreed-upon period of time where there is just nothing about them and I guarantee people will get really uncomfortable. It has the added bonus that people who were too apathetic to vote or who are regretting the vote can add to the numbers if they'd like. I don't know. Pipe dream? Or could Redditors make it happen?

Hello y'all, I have gotten alot of info from here about a lot of pc parts and what y’all have/not liked, worked/not worked, so I am giving this a shot. I have some questions that I can’t find answers for, I thought to make a post. I have double checked all of my parts are compatible except the case Be quiet pure base 500dx I can’t seem to find (or I’m looking in the wrong place) specs on length and height of where parts go, to make sure things will fit? I also can’t find the Wattage/Volt for everything (Newegg in fine text said to double check), cause I want to manually check. The motherboard, fan, case, and RAM don’t have wattage/vol listed. I have a 850 watt power supply just in there just in case. There are 2 RAM in the list (both should work), but the non-RGB one is officially listed in the compatibility list for the motherboard. Are these pretty good choices for parts? I am very green to this all. I would like to add I won’t be building the PC myself (my disability prevent me from doing so), I have a someone building it for me. It is for both gaming and remote work. I have tried bulidapc subreddit, no help from there yet. I have tried putting the parts into Pcpartpicker, no help from that either with wattage, but I did get a compatibility double check. What experiences do people have with these products and this company?
In short, is it worth it? I know that’s a subjective question, so I’m after objective experiences of the products and the company.

Hi! So I'm seeking advice or any similar stories and support I can possibly get. I had my Gastric Sleeve done on March 2022. Up until June 2024, I was feeling great. awesome with my weight at the time and everything was pretty much incredible. That same month, I went back to school (summer school after 4 years of no school) and I admit it stressed me a lot and would give in to any cravings I had. By August 2024, I had gained 10 lbs and have gained another 5 since then. I am on my 'normal' weight currently but seeing the numbers on the scale continuously going up has been messing with my self-esteem and overall happiness. I really haven't changed anything in my diet other than what I've already gone over about school and the snacking. Also, I started meal prepping and avoiding fast food as much as I can and when I can.
One thing I do admit is I've increased my alcohol intake unfortunately. I am honestly terrified of gaining all the weight back and was wondering if anyone could give me advice on what to do or if they've gone through the same thing?
I have a pretty active job and exercise 3-4 times a week. What more could I do to change what I'm going through and/or loose the weight i've gained? I feel I am currently on a good time range to not let myself gain anymore and change anything on my lifestyle to either maintain this weight or lose the gained one. TIA🫶🏻

In the Mars Introductory scene in season 4, when bobbie is on the subway car arriving at Innis Shallows, the announcement voice repeats the arrival message in a non-english language, is this Belter creole? or is it Hindi spoken in the futuristic Australian/English/American soft artificial accent that is familiar to us in many scifi's including this one. The phonetics are "um te karting Innis Shallows done, we are karting turming"
I know there is some belter diaspora on mars, it's mentioned and in season 1 we see a career center on Ceres with "GOOD JOBS ON MARS. MARINER VALLEY TERRAFORMING PROJECT" written on it.

How can aspirants trust the process?
Just last year they asked a question about "meaningful words" in which they claimed some ridiculous things like "Okey" being meaningful.
