Currently rewatching s1 of Arcane and confused or wondering if this is a writing plot-hole, but in episodes 8 and 9 of season 1, Ambessa clearly states to Mel that a "man" killed Kino:
However, in Season 2, it's revealed that the Black Rose and/or a female sorceress committed the act (Season 2 Episode 3 & Episode 9).
Does anyone else think this wording was intentional in suggesting that another party besides the Black Rose or sorceress could be behind Kino's death? Perhaps a conspiracy building in the power system of Noxus? Or do you believe that this was simply an error in writing?

2024.11.28 06:30 Novel_Strain_1223 laptop with dead pixel on screen and external monitor?
I have a ASUS laptop with a D-GPU (3060). After a year of using it I noticed there's a pixel that's dead on my external monitor, so I plugged in a different computer and it was gone. Then I noticed the same exact dead pixel on the laptops screen, same place. it doesn't matter if the laptops running on the CPU's Internal graphics or the dedicated graphics card, the pixel is stuck blueish, most noticeable in darker scenes. Anyone have any clue what would cause this? I'm not sure if this problem is new or has always been, I just noticed it now because it was on a dark movie and now I cant unsee it. Can't figure it out so maybe you got a guess

So a bit of context I have been away from OSRS for quite a while but enthusiastically hopped back in for leagues. My plan was Kourend, Morytania and the Tiwarin with a focus on range. However I missed so many updates. Like I didn’t even know that Kourend favor wasn’t a thing anymore. So I was going to pick morytania because it is my favorite region that I know. However, I feel like jumping into something brand new that I don’t know anything about might be better. I’m not sure I’m capable of beating the coliseum but I’m very interested in the Moons of Peril.  | My name is Lucas and The Chair of Bass is my passion and moneypit. For the past 4 years building this chair has been nothing short of my obsession, it has consumed every waking moment, spare thought, and dollar i have. All while being entirely worth it. This chair can acheive things no subwoofer I have ever heard can. It can operate down to 5hz, and up to 250hz. All while being theoretically silent in operation, and not interfereing with existing subs or speakers as the drivers are in free air. It is (as far as i know) one of the only headphone “subwoofers” in existance. Not succumbing to the class of theater or video game rigs, while still being excelent at both. Heavily inspired by the pioneer bodysonic chairs of the 80’s and 90s, ( I own a 1986 BSS-780 ) and while its performance is admirable considering its use of 3 rather small transducers, it pales in comparison to the monstrosity from the deep that is, The Chair Of Bass. I have spent hundreds going on thousands of hours sitting in this chair as it progressed, (admittedly some of them asleep) and have listened to everything under the sun in it. I tuned it according to my findings and experiences. The Chair Is Currently Constructed As Follows. The chair has an ottoman fashioned from an 18” subwoofer with a clear piece of 3/8” acrylic suspended slightly above it using clear plastic risers. The chair itself has an identical 18” subwoofer behind the users back as well as two 6.5” subwoofers behind the shoulders also with clear plastic and standoffs protecting their cones. The armrests are made of tiger wood and are firmly attached to the sides of the chair, which are thick vernired plywood. Held together firmly with 3 mounting points consisting of conduit with wrapped threaded rod inside, clamping the peices together. There are large springs tensioned across the back of the sides. 2 types of springs are used. There is a pad made of different types of foam which is about 3 inches thick, has a heated blanket inside and is covered in black corduroy. There are different densities of foam available for different preferences. There is a Clark synthesis transducer attached to the top portion of its metal Frame. There is an earthquake mqb-1 transducer under the bottom portion. There is an earthquake Q-10b transducer hanging off the end of the plastic top of the 18” ottoman woofer. All transducers and speakers are tuned with a PRV DSP/preamp in line with a 7 channel amp used to power them. They’re all tuned so that the highest frequencies emanate from the top portion of the chair and the lowest frequencies emanate from the bottom portion. I recently graduated from Singapore Polytechnic as a foreign student and took the tuition grant bond which requires me to work for 3 years in SG. The school said it would be easier to get jobs in SG with an LTVP pass, so I went and got one.
6 months since ive graduated and Im still unemployed. Am I allowed to work at FnB services with my LTVP pass?? Or do i have to get a work permit?

I bought the Ubiquiti U7 Pro Max router, and it arrived tonight. I disconnected my U6-LR and connected the U7, using all the same settings I had before, except for radio settings and anything exclusive to the U7 Pro Max.
Immediately, parts of my network stopped working that had been functioning minutes earlier with the U6-LR. Specifically, multicast wasn’t working at all, and many devices that previously had excellent connections were now showing poor connections with signal strengths of -75 dBm or worse—mostly on the 5 GHz channel. The 2.4 GHz channel had no issues connecting most of my devices, though a few that previously showed excellent connections now fluctuated between poor and good. I expected some degradation due to the U7’s 2x2 antenna compared to the U6-LR’s 4x4 antenna, but I didn’t expect issues with 5 GHz, especially since the U7 Pro Max has a stronger transmitter. I tried different settings and modes, but all showed the same results.
The 6 GHz channel consistently showed a signal strength of -89 dBm with no change.
After about 20 minutes, I checked the AP and found it was very hot. I could still hold the front with the LED, but the back was too hot to touch comfortably. Then I noticed a strange smell, like burning plastic—not the typical "new device" smell but more like burning insulation.
I checked the voltage on the PoE+ injector, and it was fine. Just to be cautious, I replaced it with a new one specifically purchased for this unit because of its 2.5 Gbps connection. Nothing changed.
I tried every setting, and after rebooting the access point, some devices showed better performance while others showed worse, with no discernible pattern. Some devices were even within line of sight of the unit.
Thinking I might have misconfigured something, I reconnected the U6-LR. As before, I left the AP at its default settings except for the channel widths. Everything worked perfectly again.
I had expected the U7 Pro Max to provide better 5 GHz coverage, wider channels, and 6 GHz capabilities (Wi-Fi 7). However, none of this was achieved with this unit.
I also noticed that it lacks MLO (Multi-Link Operation), which is unacceptable for a Wi-Fi 7 device at this stage. I’m unsure whether this is due to faulty hardware, firmware issues, poor manufacturing, or some combination of the above.
Additional Details:
Environment: I’m using the AP in a three-story townhouse where the U6-LR previously provided excellent coverage.
Device Load: Approximately 35 devices are connected, with a mix of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz connections.
Multicast and mDNS Issues: Devices such as Google Home and speaker groups failed to appear, while other IoT devices like thermostats and cameras, especially on the 2.4 GHz band, continued to function.
Firmware and Controller Versions: Both the U7 Pro Max and the UniFi Network Controller are running the latest firmware versions as of November 28, 2024.
Questions for the Community:
- Has anyone else experienced overheating or poor signal performance with the U7 Pro Max? Could this be a hardware issue, or are there specific settings I’m missing?
- Have you encountered multicast or mDNS issues with this device, particularly affecting Google Home and speaker groups?
In summary, the U7 Pro Max fell short in every area I purchased it for: better 5 GHz performance, 6 GHz functionality, and Wi-Fi 7 features like MLO. For now, I’m sticking with my U6-LR.

I’ve been doing so much better recently. I’ve been laughing again, having moments of feeling like I used to before my anxiety and depression became the main thing in my life.
I had a 2 hour meeting today with my administration to discuss the Christmas Concerts coming up in 2 weeks (I’m an elementary, middle, and high school band and music teacher). Nothing bad even happened in the meeting, but I’m back in the mindset of not wanting to exist anymore. I hate feeling this way, and it’s been so long since it’s been this bad.

The one I bought, I think it’s going to be far too wide on my short, fat finger… I’m going from 2mm bands currently to almost 5mm (all radiant CAD). I do that with my current originally intended wedding ring, but ended up just wearing my 2mm plain band with my solitaire. Still, I've been struggling a bit with understanding Spivak, and I kind of feel like I'm falling behind quite a bit.
