A little preface, I live at home with my mom, she has her cat which we love very much. I decided I want to get my own cat so I did. I was the one taking care of him had the food bowl in my room and litter just outside in the hallway. I kept him in my room so he can get comfortable with the house and that progressed quickly and was out of the room after a few hours. By now it’s been a year and my cat is now essentially my moms. I’m a bit upset because throughout the year she’s been taking more control. Telling me I can’t take my cat out on a drive with me, bringing him anywhere I think he would be comfortable with, etc…she also has moved my food bowls into her room. And she feeds him whenever she wants when I’m at work. She doesn’t work as much anymore because she doesn’t have to so she’s home almost 5 days a week. I’m at a loss, I don’t know what to do, at this point I feel like I’m just going to give her my cat because he doesn’t even spend time with me anymore. I used to play a lot with him but now he’s just there to play then he’ll leave my room as soon as he’s not distracted anymore. I feel pretty sad about it and I’m not sure what to do anymore. I think what I want advice for is how can I get my cat to be around me more, sleep on my bed, or just in general make him like to be around me more. :/
TLDR: My cat has more or less just become my mom’s cat. I want to keep him but he just doesn’t spend time with me anymore and my mom has kind of taken over decisions and such. I want him to be around me more instead of her because I still take care of him.

2024.11.28 08:30 NordWitcher Titan or Hunter?
Coming back to Destiny and a lot has changed since I played during Forsaken. Back then I mained a Nightstalker Hunter for a bit and a Titan before that and during D1.
I like a Hunter's dodge ability and the ability to instantly reload weapon but I find it's usage to be very niche. Titans have a cool barricade and instant access to cover.
I usually like playing at range and the range playstyles but it feels like with the newer expansions and with how small these rooms are in firefights most fighting happens in melee range.
I only have time for I class right now and I prefer DPSing and soloing most content. What class and subclass would be a better bet or for me to focus on?

Hi all, struggling student here graduating from BSc.
Long story short, struggled bad with a really low gpa. Regained spirit. Did well in this final semester with sem gpa of 6.33. But CGPA still just a 4.45.
I’m looking into a graduation certificate of molecular biology to eventually transfer credits to a master degree. But the GPA requirement is 4.5, I’m 0.05 away.
Anyone with experience that UQ can somehow overlook this 0.05 gap and let me into the GC?

I'm trying to get Ubisoft games to work using Crossover Preview, and having a hard time of it. Sometimes they randomly work perfectly, but usually they crash after launch. I can't really figure out why.
Ubisoft Launcher works fine, it's a Win7 bottle. Tried AssCreed Origins, Odyssey, Far Cry 5, Anno 1800, maybe some others. At least AssCreed Odyssey launched once and played great (until it crashed, alas), but I just can't get it launching reliably.
Using D3DMetal, tried Msync on/off, doesn't help. Newest Crossover Preview (10.28).
Any ideas?
