I am currently a football player who uses cleans as part of our training. One thing that was done alot in my old high school weight room was players got rewarded for getting PR's on hang/power cleans. Here is a video example of the typical hang clean form that was utilized.

This is a 17 year old doing 305, which is pretty decent for a young kid. Notice how he deadlifts the weight first before he hang cleans it up. This is exactly how my fellow players maxed out are cleans, infact I never once saw a player "power clean" it up. This is how we did it, not saying it was the right way, its what our coaches taught us. I have noticed other high schools have done this, like the video I have shown, but I have also seen high school and football training videos of players doing the more olympic style from the floor "power cleans.

The point being, i have seen football programs utilize both max power cleans or hang cleans, and some players seem to prefer one over the other.
I myself am more used to the "hang clean" version of deadlifting it off the floor first like the 17 year old kid example when I maxed out. In fact I tried doing a power clean from the floor in high school but I couldn't do as much weight as my hang clean version. Keep in mind this was not under the eyes of a trained olympic lifting coach though.
My question is, are some people going to be more better at sticking to the hang clean version vs the power clean version? OR is it universally true that EVERYONE WILL POWER CLEAN more if they worked on the technique. For example that 17 year old kid, if he learned to power clean from the floor instead would he be able to hoist more weight?
If a strongman who has a world record dead lift , transitioned into olympic lifting, would he be more better off just dead lifting it off the floor and cleaning it up? Is this version allowed in the olympic rules?
I am wondering if people who are already strong at the dead lift are better off doing hang cleans to max out or if they are still better off training a full power clean.
I basically wanna max out my clean to the most I can do, and not sure if I switch my technique to power cleans from the floor if I will improve my max any.
I hope this makes sense, basically I am curious if that 17 year old kid in the video I posted, if he was taught how to power clean from the floor would he lift even more than he did for the 305, or would it actually be less since maybe he is just one of those athletes that already has a strong dead lift strength?

Teddy would date them until their permit ended and he would break his promise with them, about helping them to make them permanent residency within the country. Teddy didn't care as he didn't have to deal with them because they wouldn't be in the country anymore. That was teddy and people told teddy at how horrible he was being. Teddy would ghost the women when their permit was nearing it's end. This is what teddy did.
Then teddy grew a bit older and he married a woman who could only stay in the country, for as long as she was married to teddy. Teddy uses this to his advantage to control the woman he married. He would always threaten to deport her if she started to call out his bad behaviours and bas habits. Teddy loved having this control over his wife and then when they had a blow out argument, teddy divorced her and she was sent back to her country. They never had any children and teddy grew a bit more, and had realised the error of his ways.
He found a woman he truly loved and even told her about the evil things he had done to women. The new woman accepted and she told him that she was born in hell. Demons had gotten hold of the book of life which enabled them to abduct living humans and bring them to hell. Teddy's new wife was born in hell and when redeemed souls get freed from heaven, teddy's new wife had escaped through them.
Teddy and his new wife tried for a baby so that they could fully cement her legal status to stay with him. When it comes to hell, being married isn't enough and you must have a baby. Unfortunately though the baby always came out still born and demons would possess the baby and mock teddy and his new wife. Once when teddy and his new wife were stranded in the middle of no where as his car broke down, his new wife gave birth in the car and it came out still born. Demons possessed and it mocked the two. When the demon left, the couple could eat the still born baby and it was enough for them to survive on till help finally arrived.
Hell finally took back teddy's new wife and he was gutted. Teddy tried speed dating but he only goes out with women immigration status issues.

The level of control you have is so beyond every previous style. You can easily control placement and can make every range of throw. From literally skyball loft, touch pass of every angel of loft, to rocket-bullet. The placement/accuracy last system had pretty good accuracy control but your throws were so constrained. It’s literally bullet, “touch,” or bomb. Now you can make these perfect touch passes at the exact level of arc you need for the circumstance. I rarely used touch in the old system cause it was as such a set type throw that had constraints. Which really doesn’t lend itself to what touches are usually for.
Overall it’s just way more fun and has way higher ceiling skill wise. I was hesitant too but I implore anyone that resisted switching over to try it. You gotta give it time, for a while you’re gonna be worse but I’m telling you you’ll be significantly better in the end. Also the game starts to feel less arcady after you get it dialed in. You feel like you can actually do exactly what you want and don’t feel constrained by mechanics. It’s just a super fluid system that once you figure it out can enable you to put the ball wherever you want and in the exact way you want it to get there.

About 7 years ago, I remember my school library having a big collection of comics—more niche ones, not like Marvel or DC. I've been trying to find all the ones I used to read, like Maximum Ride and Bone, but there's one I literally can’t find, and I can't remember the name of it.
I only remember some details from the first issue: A person (maybe a few people) is going to be executed, or something really bad is going to happen to them in public. I also remember something about hidden or secret powers.
This last memory is a bit of a shot in the dark, but I think there might have been some kind of secret society or shadow government involved with the execution.
The execution scene (or something similar) takes place in a future timeline right at the beginning of the comic. It's designed to hook you, pulling you into the story immediately. Then, the narrative cuts back to earlier events to show how everything led up to that moment. Think of it like the intro to The Walking Dead, where Rick Grimes is walking through a city, forced to shoot a zombie girl, and then the story cuts to him waking up in a hospital and recounting the events that led him there.
I’ve been looking for this for over a month now and nothing. I even tried asking ChatGPT to help, but it just started making up random comics.

We are 4 bachelors living in a 2BHK in Adugodi (close to Koramangala). We have Mosaic flooring and it's a headache to maintain and clean it. We don't earn too much, just the basic IT salary for a 2 year experienced engineer. Our owner is a scammer actually. She helped us in getting a maid for cleaning twice a week for Rs. 3000/- a month.
On top of this, the first time they cleaned, apparently it was too dusty and is asking for Rs. 2500/-. We are asked to pay this to the owner herself. This is way too much for less than half-day's work. We have no furniture, nothing to move around, so no hard labour. How should we tackle this situation. We are pretty sure the owner's taking a cut from whatever we will be paying them.

Yesterday, I had a conversation with my mom about my doubts. At first, I was a bit scared because of what I had heard from others, but it went surprisingly well. We ended up discussing things for two hours. I shared my thoughts about how the concept of God troubles me and why Islam, in particular, raises questions for me. I also brought up the issue of questionable hadiths.
My mom explained that hadiths are man-made, and we can’t fully trust humans. She said that even if a hadith is graded as sahih, we can never be entirely sure of its authenticity. According to her, the Quran is what matters most. She gave me a Dutch translation and encouraged me to read it. She suggested we discuss it further once I’ve read more and have additional questions. I agreed.
She also shared that she’s never doubted her faith, but her brother (my uncle) did for many years. He stopped believing but returned to Islam two years ago. She suggested I talk to him to understand why he chose to believe again.
Overall, it was a very productive conversation, though it left me with even more doubts. Are there specific verses in the Quran I should focus on? It’s such a thick book, and analyzing everything will take a lot of time.

I'll be upfront about my political and religious beliefs.
Politically I am a constitutional libertarian. I hate the two party system and believe it will eventually destroy us. I believe in a smaller government, and that we should be left alone to live our life within the confines of the constitution and Bill of rights. I believe everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and will never push any of mine on you and would hopefully expect the same from you...
Religiously, I have a relationship with Jesus, and for the most part try to live my life in a manor that is becoming of a individual that walks with him. I am a avid woodworker, and starting to learn how to blacksmith.
I love history, and will easily head down the rabbit hole with almost any subject regarding history, I do focus alot on American revolutionary history, founding fathers, and in depth on WWII.
I do have to admit I am also a closet nerd. Out of high school I obtained multiple certifications for networking and system administration. I have always been mechanically and electronically gifted. I admit I love gaming just as much the next guy, but would rather spend 5 days building my own game servers or tweaking my game to the extent that I eventually feel the okay with it.
As for you...
I beg.. That you don't message me if your gonna only hit me with a OF link or "send me $15 on cash app and I'll send you 100 hours of video and photos.." I am not looking for that nor interested in it. I have no issue with anyone doing OF or an equivalent.. But I am not interested by any means of buying your nudes..
I don't have much of a requirement for anything in particular. Just that you believe that we could be a decent match. I do have plans and goals, and would love to have someone to achieve these with.
