When people experience love, especially for the first time with no prior heartbreaks/scars and relationships to compare, the emotions are experienced as pure and unfiltered, making them intense and unforgettable, fueled by the novelty of the experience.
However, as relationships end, the scars/experiences often reshape what they expect and look for future relationships. Be it consciously/subconsciously, people often compare their current relationships to past ones. They might think about how the new person measures up to their ex or how the feelings compare.
So, the question is does love lose its intensity over time because of past experiences/scars and comparisons? Can later relationships be difficult to feel the same excitement, trust, or connection as they did the first time or ever feel as exciting or stronger than the first?

Apologies for this very basic question.
I just bought an ASUS ROG Strix G16CH desktop.
My previous PC was 15 years old but I’m still hoping to recycle its HDD and SSD, both SATA.
In my old PC they’re mounted inside a frame/ enclosure fitted inside to the body of the box, but I don’t see any of that in my new G16CH.
Do I need to buy an enclosure for the drives? How would it be attached to the chassis? I don’t see any obvious space to put it. Is it even possible?

EDIT (SOLVED)
I found the way to install a SATA drive. In the end I didn’t reuse my old drive but bought a new one (a 2.5” SSD). Thanks u/The_4ngry_5quid for the advice.
No enclosure is needed. There is a gap at the bottom near the power supply that you can access by removing the right panel (ie not the glass one), see this image (thanks u/weegee20 for the link). You’re supposed to attach your drive to the bottom of the PC box with 4 screws. The screw holes will work with a 3.5”drive, so I had to get an adaptor. The gap is very narrow and full of cabling so I don’t think you’d easily fit a magnetic drive there.
There is a spare SATA power cable already there, but for the data connector you’ll need to provide one (I had the one that came in a separate box), connect it in the other side of the motherboard (need to remove the glass panel) and make it go though a hole to the rear to connect it to the drive.
There is a service manual on the ASUS site describing the procedure but with very little detail.

If someone’s ultimate goal is to match into a derm residency at a program in Location X (location is a non-negotiable), and they have the option to attend either: 1. A T20 medical school in Location X, with ~1% of students in a class matching derm 2. A T3 medical school located far away from Location X, with ~6% of students in a class matching derm
which choice would offer the better baseline advantage?
To add some context, the person would have a research mentor at Program X regardless of the med school they attend. I understand this is a broad question, and many factors come into play, but I’m curious about where the initial advantage might lie. Would proximity to the program tip the scales, or would the prestige of the T3 carry more weight?
Currently comparing med schools and this is one of the many factors I’m considering.

That's how Styly was born (named after my mom Sylvia - she insisted!). It's an AI platform that helps visualize interior changes before making them.
I built a simple AI tool that lets anyone reimagine their rooms through WhatsApp AI design (because let's face it, that's where our parents are most comfortable!). Just send a photo, describe what you want, and boom - you get design variations!I've been testing it with my mom (she's now obsessed and has redesigned every room twice ��),
We've grown to over 5k users who are actively redesigning their spaces, which honestly blows my mind! While the free tier has helped many people, maintaining and improving the AI features isn't cheap. I'm considering adding some premium features to keep the project sustainable while keeping the core features free
Started as a solution for my mom has grown into something I'm really proud of, but I know it can be better. I'd love to hear from fellow Redditors:
