I swear I remember there being a blue magikarp in some sort of pokemon game or show, I just remember a scene where it swims by. I was so surprised when I figured out that shiny Magikarp is gold and not blue. Does anyone else remember this too or am I going crazy??

Long story short, purchased some fans online, and ended up due to a weird name on the listing purchased the wrong fans.
Anyways returned all of the fans by courier to Victoria (one box was opened but then repackaged in their original packaging with no damage when I shipped it). Upon receiving the company opened the box and some of the packaging paper had a small tear and one component had dust on it (note - I never installed these fans, opened it, realised it didn't have a light and then put it back and closed it up) For this they have refused to refund one of the four fans.
Just wondering where do I stand here from a consumer perspective and if I should/can take this higher because seems like a bit of a cop out from the company.

Im currently playing ME2 for the first time, and after ME1 still wondering about ages.
We've been told that asari (for exemple) can live up to 1000 years, but what are those years? For human race year is a one rotation of the earth around the sun, but other races also use the term "year" but for them it will be different, cause they're living on another planet that rotate around another star, so our year counting is not the same as theirs.
So there is question: Does ME games answer that question? Or devs didnt thought about it?

2024.11.28 09:50 mountaincat80 I’m in an overthinking spiral and need some clarity, I can’t tell whether she likes me or not
Been on 3 dates with a girl who lives about 1 hour away. First two were just getting to know each other, 2nd date got cut short because I had a family emergency. On the 3rd we spent a long time together and held hands at the end of the night and then I dropped her home. We text everyday.
She’s a bit passive, but responds quickly and proactively. When we were holding hands, she seemed really into it and got close to me. Asked her out on a 4th and she said yes.
The issue is that when I asked her out, I said we should spend a full day together, but on Saturday she said she has plans in the evening, so it’ll have to end before that, and on Sunday she’s going on a trip in the morning so we can meet after (she’ll be in my area so it’s convenient).
There’s nothing obviously wrong here, but this doesn’t give me the opportunity to physically escalate. We live in a conservative country and can’t kiss in a public place. Also I live with my family, which she knows, and can’t bring her to my place. Could she be dating other people? Would she agree to a 4th date if she’s on the fence? Is it okay if I say something like, “I mean, seeing you both days doesn’t sound like a bad idea to me?” If not, does Saturday or Sunday make more sense?
Something that really throws me off in dating is that we tend to perceive the same things differently, for me handholding is highly intimate, but for her it could be meaningless. How do you perceive handholding? Would you hold hands with someone you’re not interested in? On this sub I hear stories of people making out on dates and then ending things or ghosting a day later, do people just accept physical attention because it would be awkward not or just to explore?
Another example of this is a first date where the girl sensed strong mutual attraction but I felt none, even though the date went well. Nothing physical happened. After the date I was upfront but she was hurt and confused, and asked her friends to follow up on why I ended things.
I understand her frustration, serious dating is emotionally taxing. Going on multiple dates, waiting for the right moment, summoning up the courage to make a move and spending all that time and money is emotionally exhausting when there’s no pay off in the end. It’s so discouraging that things can just fail after all this effort.
