Hello there!
TLDR: I need to find a new job (Data Science, ML engineering, or something similar) in Germany and would appreciate any help with my CV.
Now, I know that the market isn't great, but the number of rejections I've received forced me to start questioning my CV (and the point of existence). I am a non-eu citizen, but I have a permanent residence in Germany and therefore do not require any kind of visa sponsorship, also, I do speak German on a relatively high level. I got my M.Sc. in Data Science at one of the top German universities, and have more than 2-3 years (depending on how to count the student job) of experience at a company, where I was pretty much the only Data Scientist. Because of this, I had to learn the engineering side and was getting a lot of guidance, however, I was getting zero DS-related guidance, so I had to upskill myself, and it's hard to estimate how well it turned out.
I was thinking that having to do both data science and software/data engineering tasks would make me a stronger candidate, not sure if this assumption is true or if I am presenting myself correctly.
Lastly, I was getting comments from my colleagues that I am smart and a nice person to work with, again, not sure if that's relevant and how to show it in the CV.

I'm always coming up with some new 'system' for racing and football betting, and in the last couple of years, have been dabbling in European leagues. I get my extended winning runs, making me think I've cracked it, then the inevitable fall back to earth as I see the profit turn into a loss.
But, my latest loss making venture is actually showing a profit in the premier leagues of the 'big 5' countries, and it's the lower leagues and premier leagues of smaller countries where the losses are. It's early days, and the sample size is tiny, but can anyone suggest a reason why a way of working based mainly on recent form, would work better in the top leagues?

Hey guys, just moved the old SP1 to Fedora KDE mobile and installed the surface kernel, but the thing is using 10W at idle and over 20W browsing, the fans will spin up playing 1080p YT video. Sensors don't seem to be working properly (no auto brightness or rotation despite my attempts) and power-top doesn't seem to be able to configure properly. Any suggestions?
