I'm running Codeium in vscode with platformio for C++ just as a hobby programmer and still in my learning phase with Codeium. When using a command to modify a block of code like a function, Codeium offers a mixture of old and new code. If the old code is ... delay (20); ... and the prompt is: "change delay from 20 to 2" Codeium returns ... delay (2); delay (20); ...
and asks for accept or reject. When I accept, delay(20) is removed. But was confusing during my first steps, because I thought Codeium just added the new delay (2) without removing delay(20). So far I haven't found any indicator what's the new code and what will be removed. Of course, this is a trivial example and would be faster to be changed manually, but as mentioned it's desireable for me to better understand how Codeium works and where I can rely and where not. And for bigger or more complex changes it becomes impossible to "see just the new code behind" what is shown on the screen. I'm aware I can accept, check the new code and hit CTRL-Z to return to the former version of code in case I don't like it, but that's seems to be not very effective.
Is there a kind of "better" workflow ?

I notice that understanding the logic behind the statistics greatly helps me study and understand the material. I'm trying to understand why you would use K to signify the amount of groups in causal analysis, but I just don't understand why we specifically use K and can't find anything about it. I understand why N is the number of respondents in you sample, as i've always interpreted it as N = Number. But why use K for groups? In the same sense, why do we use Eta for the residuals in bivariate regression? Why specifically use the greek letter for H? Seeing as H, K and N is used, will the next unused letter of the alphabet just be used every time there is a new theory or value that we need a letter for?

I need to upgrade the memory's laptop to an additional 8GB (total of 16GB). I'm trying to find the make and model that's already included with the laptop but to no avail. I don't have the laptop on me yet, but in the meantime that's all the help I'm trying to get. Does anyone know what's the memory that comes with this laptop model? Also, can I use any SDDR4 memory or is the laptop limited to specific brands/models?
