2024.11.28 10:36 Vermulo Buying ETFs to help pay for school in about 2 years?
I graduated post-secondary this fall, and I will be beginning work in my field pretty soon (hopefully in the next two weeks, had a job interview Monday). I plan to pursue higher education in about 1.5 or maybe 2.5 years, and I want to invest some money to help pay for school at that point. When I start, I would begin withdrawing money twice a year or so to pay for each semester. My higher education program would last for about 2 years (4 semesters), so I would hold some of the investments and gradually withdraw to pay as I go until I complete the program about 3.5-4.5 years from now. I have some mutual funds through TD that I started buying periodically in late 2022 in a TFSA (currently worth about 13.5k CAD, of which 2.1k CAD is profit), but I've been told by some coworkers that ETFs can be good as they offer lower fees. Should I start investing in ETFs from now on or keep contributing to MFs in my TFSA?

Hello guys,
M30, I am balding since 25 (that I noticed of). A specialist I visited suggested me Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), but is quite expensive (120EUR each session, 16 sessions to start with). If I understood correctly, LLLT only strengthens the hair you currently have. Anyways, reading online, I understood that if you stop LLLT the hair weakens again (thinning). I would greatly appreciate the feedback of someone who did it or knows someone who did it or anyone who knows about LLLT. Personally, I think I will embrace the baldness but I also wanted to know where is the science on it. Thanks in advance!
